LAKESHORE BOUTIQUE INN
Lakeshore Boutique Inn is a beautiful facility on the shores of Kootenay Lake, a one minute drive from the city limits of Nelson, BC. It is the perfect place for your group to stay together yet have your own private bedroom. (We allow up to 24 people in your group). Nestled amidst emerald grass and a vast golden beach, we offer 11 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and its own 3 piece bathroom. All the bedrooms and living areas are in one large building on the property.There are two large living rooms, one infamous for its breathtaking view of our waterfront, the other with a billiard table. The kitchen is well equipped and our large dining room offers an expansive view of Kootenay Lake.

This gorgeous lakefront estate has all the comforts and coziness of home. With lush grass leading to the large private beach, volleyball net, a small chapel for quiet reflection, wireless internet, and covered sundeck, this location truly has it all. While relaxing on the beach, guests will enjoy glorious views of both the Orange Bridge and Elephant Mountain. Lakeshore Home is the perfect atmosphere for vacations, family reunions, retreats, seminars, or workshops, or whatever suits your personal desires.
Its tranquil existence is a mere 5 minute drive from Nelson city center, which offers gourmet local cuisine and a unique shopping experience, as well as endless outdoor opportunities. Guests can enjoy a short walk down a country road that connects to John’s Walk, a path along the shores of Kootenay Lake that lead to the picturesque Lakeside Park. From there you can board Nelson’s Streetcar #23 and continue your tour of this Heritage City.

Great place for group getaway

We had wonderful time here exploring Nelson and surrounding area. Perfect for an active group, with lots of outdoor activities, including a beautiful private beach, volleyball, hot tub, fire pit and lovely deck. Lisa was an excellent host, communicative and very helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

Great Lodging for a Group!

We were a party of 12 and really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was well provisioned, the beds were comfortable, and Lisa was super pleasant and addressed every need. It was a big plus with each room having its own bathroom. We're hoping to return! Great spot and recommend it highly!

50 Years of Love - Celebration Weekend

Awesome space for a large group of friends. Quiet well appointed bedrooms/bath to retreat to and two large common areas to hang with friends. We cooked a lot of meals at the house as there was a big kitchen and a large dining room table. Thanks Lisa. We will be back next year.

We had planned a little family reunion and it was the most perfect place to have it! Thank you so much for the beautiful accommodations and being the best host! We felt so at home and so taken care of! You know when you walk into a place and you just know it’s clean…and taken care of…this was that place! We had lots of room to play games, eat together, everyone had their own rooms and bathrooms which is huge in a big group! And the outside and beach area was huge to play all the games and all the beach activities! Thanks again! Can’t wait till next time!

Perfect for our group

We stayed in this property in May 2017 and found it absolutely excellent. An easy and scenic drive from Castlegar airport and close to Nelson township. Everyone loved having their own room, TV and bathroom and the queen beds were comfy! The house is very well equipped with everything for a large group including lots of linens, kitchenware and two fridges helps as well! The two common spaces were great too for those who wanted to hang out in the lounge and those who wanted to play pool and watch sports. What an excellent location - we laughed a lot so the soundproofing must be great! An excellent property that we would happily come back to again!

A Great Family Reunion Venue and Location

We had an awesome 4-day family reunion at the Boutique Inn! Lisa, George and Leslie were gracious and friendly hosts that were focused on making our stay memorable, comfortable and fun. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had a full compliment of appliances and utensils. The deck was spacious and overlooked the expansive manicured yard and full on private beach, where we spent most of our time. The lake water is clean and there were no bugs - happy faces!! Firepit gatherings were the focus every night and the hot tub was in great demand by the littles. Thumbs way up Lisa, George and Leslie! Thanks again and we'll be back soon!

Best experience ever !!!

I organized a ski trip for 12 friends with high expectations (all between 45 to 55 years old)...and it was better to my best expectations !! The place was much bigger than shown on pictures and the warmth of the entire lodge from the room to the playroom, the dining room and the living room, gave us a feeling of « family friends get together » unbeatable. Lisa’s kindness every day from morning til night was a big part of the success of my trip. My friends can’t believe how well we were treated (5 star services with nicest smile ever) and they’ve confirmed that we will book it for next year. It’s surely Nelson’s best kept secret... Thanks again Lisa for having made this trip for us the best experience ever !!!

Most amazing experience.

The property was everything it was reported to be but the owner Lisa was the most accommodating property manager/owner we have ever dealt with through VRBO. If we needed something Lisa grabbed it right away and if she didn't have, she went and got it. The property is very well equipped but we couldn't find the BBQ rotisserie so Lisa ran out and got us one. Our group has been vacationing together for 15 plus years and we all agreed Lisa was the most gracious and accommodating manager/owner we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Even through COVID-19 any fears of losing our money due to shutdown were calmed by Lisa, always very helpful and accommodating. Would not hesitate to recommend this property, clean and comfortable.

Excellent property in Nelson

We rented this property for a multi-generation family reunion. It was the perfect venue, with lots for young people to do. The property is very spacious with doors that close off to offer noise reduction from the common rooms. Our group did what other reviewers had done and located the younger crowd near the common room with the pool table and television. The kitchen has everything your group would need for cooking and more, 2 griddles, 30 cup coffee perk as well as three other coffee machines! The facility was exceptionally clean. The owners are very kind, helpful and generous. Nelson is a lovely community with many artists, interesting shops and great hiking. This villa is on a beach front lot with a diving dock and sandy beach. I would not hesitate to recommend this property, as it provided us with a peaceful, memorable family time.

Tremendous lakefront stay

Lakeshore Boutique Inn greatly exceeded our expectations. The separate rooms are ideal for multiple families looking to vacation together. The rooms were clean and very well maintained, the kitchen was well set up to prepare meals for larger groups, but most notably the outdoor spaces are without compare. The property is very private and the lakefront is spectacular. And Lisa was a fantastic host - very responsive and tremendously helpful. She lives on the property in a separate residence, but was tremendously respectful of our privacy. I couldn't recommend this property enough!

Our best family reunion yet!

Every other year, our family reunites from our homes across the country for a glorious week of togetherness. We are 24 strong, from 7 years old to 78, so it is not easy to find a place that fits our needs. Lisa's beach house was just the place we were looking for. The huge private beach, all the bedrooms and bathrooms, the two separate living areas, and the pool table meant teenagers and grandparents alike were perfectly content. Lisa answered all our questions prior to our arrival and throughout our stay promptly. We had everything we needed and feel our search for a holiday house has ended. Thank you so much! Perfect place for a family reunion

The pictures don’t do the place justice. It is stunning. The lake is amazing and there is so much outdoor green space for kids to run around and play! Lisa the owner was a fantastic host and answered our questions right away! The kitchen was fantastic and has ample supply and the 2 fridge/freezers were a huge help for our group size of 25! Totally recommend staying here!

Great location and vacation

We travelled to Nelson to celebrate my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary; our group included 13 grandchildren (3 yrs to 20 yrs old) and 10 adults in total. The property is spacious and having so many bedrooms was a must with a group like ours! Everyone commented that it was so nice to have their own bedrooms and bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms have views of the lake and direct access to the exterior which makes coming and going from the beach a breeze. All the children loved the short, easy walk to the beach and it allowed them to come and go as they pleased. The property is just as depicted in the pictures and description. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, dishes and cutlery and anything you should need for meals. Most importantly, the owner, Lisa, was amazing at communication! She made everything so easy from booking, resolving any minor issues during stay and the check out process. We will definitely come back again to enjoy the property!
