Welcome to The Wave in Cannon Beach, OR! We are proud owners of our home away from home for over 20 years. As our family has grown, so has our home. We have celebrated birthdays, graduations, retirements, holidays, girls' weekends, romantic getaways, solo-recharge trips, and maybe a few rowdy parties in our college years. Our home is enjoyable year-round with our indoor hot tub and fireplace.

You'll find our 3,000 sq ft home will have everything you need to create lasting memories. With a cozy, yet spacious layout, there is plenty of room to gather as well as getaway. There is a living room space and a bathroom on every floor. With 4 bedrooms and plenty of couch and floor space, you will find we can comfortably sleep more than 12 guests, although 12 is our legal limit. 2 dogs allowed - please do not allow them on furniture or in the hot tub room.

Located at the end of the street near Tolovana Park and 2.5 blocks from the beach, you'll find everything you need within walking distance. Fresh Foods Market, Sea Level Bakery, Surfcrest Market & Pizza, Warren House Pub, Mo's Restaurant, and Tolovana Park Playground.

Comfortable house close to beach

We enjoyed our visit. The location made it easy to walk on the beach and we enjoyed family meals sitting on the outdoor deck with a view of the ocean. The house very comfortably accommodated our family group of three couples.

The view from the many decks and outside spaces was good. We especially liked the sunset from the front deck. The hot tub was not functional when we arrived but we were able to troubleshoot and get it going. The motor noise was bothersome to the guest in the basement which I suppose was why the power was off when we arrived. The house was very clean. Many spaces to allow private time as well as social gatherings. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. We walked around the close neighborhood and also took a long walk on the beach to the downtown area. Parking for three vehicles would be difficult. We had two cars and were fine.

Annual Cannon Beach trip return guests

I will start by saying this was our second time in the home and we would stay here again, probably. The size of the home, location, privacy, and overall experience is excellent. However, we stayed here once around Covid and the hot tub was drained, this time it was not. The chemical smell that permeates the house was terribly strong upon entering. I am not sensitive to odors but this created burning eyes and headaches for people not even sleeping in the master bedroom. Surely, if you are going to have an indoor hot tub, there must be less toxic alternatives to what ever they were using. On a positive note, The owners were responsive and helped us improve the situation but our clothes still smell like chlorine after washing twice. The back door in the master bedroom was so off kilter that we couldn’t lock it, but they sent someone to fix in within 2 days of notification. One other issue is that the garbage was completely full from a remodel next door that with 10 people, we struggled to manage household recycle and garbage. I will repeat, despite these issues we would stay at the house again. Just leaving an honest review.

Nice house

Great spaces, nice bedrooms with one on the main floor. Wonderful location. We found the lighting very dim and had trouble getting it to heat up but overall it suited our needs very well.

Very nice house & close to beach

We enjoyed the house for a small family reunion. My two siblings and I each had our own bedroom with queen bed and own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation and the dining area and living room was roomy for meals and gatherings. We also enjoyed some meals outside.

Girls birthday weekend

This was an amazing place to stay with my 4 girlfriends. The 5 of us enjoyed the house and the use of the hot tub. Close to anything you need and even the beach. The pictures seemed different from what we saw, it was much better in person!! Thanks again! I will be back

A Lovely Rental

Pro: - Excellent location - Easy, flexible check in - Very spacious with comfortable furnishings - Beautiful house, would definitely rent again Con: - Had to purchase toilet paper and paper towels (no extra rolls for when we ran out, less than half rolls out when we arrived) and no laundry detergent. Understand if owners do not want to supply these, but that should be made clear prior to check in. - Coffee Maker and Toaster do not work well at all and probably should be replaced. - Hot tub controls very glitchy and sensors probably need repair - constant "water level" warnings when it was filled to proper level.

Great getaway for your friends group

This was a great house for a group of friends because there were enough beds for each of us to have our own. The hot tub took awhile to heat up but once it did- it felt great to soak and talk together. It was so convenient to walk to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a relaxing fun time. Large spacious comfortable home. Large living room. Easy walk to the wide beach, ocean and Haystack Rock. Coffee/bakery, small grocery/takeout restuarant and larger grocery all a short walk away. Road noise on deck and patio but quiet indoors. Enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you

Amazingly beautiful beach and house

The house was wonderful everything worked great! First time visiting the beach in 25 years The Wave was the perfect place to stay with my family! Short 2 minute walk to the beach weather was great! Parking cars was kinda hard not much room between neighbors 3 cars aloud but had a real hard time getting 2 in. The house was perfect lots of room just a short 5 minute drive into town! 5 stars and would love to stay again!

Great Location

The house was really comfortable for the seven adults and two dogs in our party. It was a short walk to the beach, the market, bakery, and pub. The hot tub wasn't working at all, but we didn't miss it. We apparently made the neighbors mad with our dogs tinkling on the grass.

Nice house, couldn’t grill or use hot tub

The house was nice, but needs some renovating, was in a good location, but the grill did not work, and the hot tub would not warm up.
