We have been to Paris several times and this is by far our favorite place to stay. We slept well, had space to stretch out, and the view of Notre Dame from our living room window was the best. Everything we needed was within two blocks… groceries, boulangerie, cafes, bars, the Sienne, and of course, Notre Dame. The blooming geraniums in the windows and French decore of the apartment was an authentic, extra nice touch. We had excellent communication with Ingala and Joyce. We definitely will stay here again.

This comfortable and nicely decorated apartment was absolutely wonderful! We never tired of looking out the windows at Notre Dame a block away. Occasionally the bells of the cathedral would ring, and it was magical. The location is great, near the Musee de Cluny (medieval art), with many restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and small groceries in the area. It was a short walk to the Louvre and Sainte Chappelle, a little farther to the Musee d'Orsay. Subway to and from the airport stopped a block away.

The owner, Joyce and representative on site, Ingrid, were easy to communicate with and were very gracious. The apartment has some older ( worn) furnishings ( cushions, lamps, blankets) that could use replacing. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything needed for basic cooking. It was cold in Paris and we enjoyed the coziness with the heat on. Apartment is in a very good location for walking to sites, Resturant’s, wine cafes and the Seine. Felt very safe traveling . Found it to be a good location for getting an Uber or taxi . Would definitely stay again.

The location could not have been better: seeing Notre Dame from the living room window was matched by the convenience of multiple great restaurants, boulangeries, and historic sights within walking distance. There were many thoughtful touches in the apartment for everyday living like shopping bags and generous supplies of soaps and paper products. The washer and dryer were the best we’ve found in our travels.

We parked at the nearby car garage. The check in was smooth and easy. Afterward, I drove our rental to CGD, dropped it off, and took the RER back the the station that was close by. The location was well stocked with what we needed. The host responded quickly to a question we had. It is very convenient location getting around in the city. If you want a Parisian experience this is it. We would definitely stay here again.

This apartment is an absolute dream! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I looked out the living room windows and saw the most amazing view of Notre Dame right in front of me. The location felt safe and i had everything I needed nearby. Communication was easy, as was picking up the keys for check-in around the corner. The bed is comfortable, the apartment is spacious, and I never wanted to leave. It was the perfect Parisian escape and was the highlight of my trip. I can’t wait to return.

Great Location

This beautiful apartment is one block away from the Notre Dame and minutes from main metro lines. There is so much to do and see within walking distance. The apartment itself was perfect for 2 couples. It had everything you needed. It is on the 3rd floor but there is a small elevator. We had a wonderful visit to Paris partly because of where we were staying. We loved coming ‘home’ at the end of our day.

Amazing location... Comfortable stay

This unit is in a fantastic location and you can see the Notre Dame directly out the window. It was a great home base for exploring Paris for our family of 4. The check-in process is a little inconvenient as you have to pick up keys at a hotel close by. The checkout process also wasn't clearly communicated either, which added a little stress at the end of our trip and the owner did not promptly respond to our messages. Somewhat minor issues though for a generally lovely stay in Paris.

We enjoyed very much the apartment, the location, etc. The only thing we wished was provided were instructions for the washer and drying as well as the oven and heater in the living room. Preferably in both French and English. But that was not a game changer by any means.

This would have been a 5 star review if the check in process had been better. All we received was the location to pick up the key. When we got to the apartment, we needed an access code. If we had not had someone let us in and help us locate he apartment we might have had to find a hotel to spend the night in until we got the information we needed. Now as to the apartment, it was great The location was fantastic. In the middle of the Latin Quarter and with easy access to the RER and the Metro. Great restaurants and shopping in the surrounding area. Would go back.

Amazing Location & French Charm!

The Notre Dame view out of the two front French balconies was unbelievable. Restaurants, bars and shopping were only steps from the front door! Inside the building there is a very small convenient elevator to get to 3rd floor. Inside the apartment were all the stunning French architectural moldings at the ceiling, fireplaces and wood floors…super charming! The kitchen had a full size fridge, a washer and European dryer, a gas cooktop and gas oven with manual pilot light (lighter/matches included) and a small microwave. The living/dining area was large with a very tiny tv with cable. The bedroom was ample sized with a comfortable bed. The bathroom has a large tub/shower, vanity sink and huge towel warmer. The metro stations were very close by within a block or two away. You can walk to pretty much all of the main attractions or hop a metro and be there in minutes. We stayed 6 nights and had Paris at our fingertips with a warm apartment waiting for us after our daily travels.

Great location

This was our first time to Paris. We were very excited to have found this apartment in such a great location. It’s a very cute Parisian apartment. Cool moldings and light fixtures! It’s small, but was perfect for us. It was however not very tidy. There were random bricks at the front door and odd things in the bathroom. Not a deal breaker but not a perfectly staged VRBO. The tub is very tall and a little hard to get in to just in case that could be a problem for someone. The biggest issue honestly was I booked the apartment because it said it had a lift. It does have a lift but it did not work the whole time except for the first day. Again, if you have issues be aware. We were told it very rarely works. There wasn’t any info given to us about check out and we were left scrambling the morning we left. It worked out but I had to pay our driver extra to go drop off the keys off site.

Could not have been more perfect!

Best experience I’ve ever had with staying in someone’s apartment! The location is a dream. You can see Notre Dame out the fabulous flower-filled windows. Because it’s close to the Seine, the street flow and sounds are wonderful. (French accordion music wafted into the apartment late afternoons and evenings; really!) The building is lovely. The apt is on the third floor; there's a lift/elevator the size of a closet but nice to have for suitcase transport. There are a gazillion restaurants in every direction. And the BigBus tour bus stop is half a block away if you want to do the tour/hop-off-on thing. There are terrific things (restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, parks) in every direction. And the grocery store is 4 short blocks away and there's an organic grocery one block away. The bed was comfy; the sofa sleeper was fine for a sofa sleeper. The windows provided great breeze even on the few warm nights. The kitchen was great and had everything you need. The host and her assistant were wonderful and responsive, even giving me instructions about taking the metro to the apartment (3 easy metro stops within two blocks). It was the perfect Parisian apartment.

Beautiful view & great location with caveats

The location can’t be beat; you are near everything within walking or main metro lines to get around the city. The area is busy so there is street noise but the bedroom is tucked back and quiet save for some noisy pigeons outside. The apartment is a typical Parisian layout with the living room being the most spacious. The bedroom fits two comfortably except for the cumbersome bedframe that is not attached to the bed (we kept bumping into it and it was knocked off place). It was really handy to have a washer and drier to do laundry and there is a decent sized fridge.We found the apartment not very clean when we arrived: the fridge had not been cleaned and there was dust on some of the areas in the living room and kitchen. The tub/shower also was not draining and we pulled a large chunk of hair out of the drain that wasn’t our own.The communication with the host was very slow: we notified the host of the drain issue a day after we arrrived and they did not respond for 4 days. To note: you pick up the key at a hotel close by, but pickup/drop off hours are limited so if you have an early flight you may need to notify the host on how to pickup or get them the key back depending on your travels.

Perfect location. Host left perfect instructions regarding how to check in, get in and out of flat, how to use the stove, washing machine and dryer. This apartment is in the Latin Quarter, 2 blocks from Notre Dame. While the street is wide, there was not a lot of traffic. The Apartment is lovely! Bed comfortable. Lots of restaurants in the area, as well as the Metro.
