I am sorry the hot tub was not working during your stay. What a fiasco! We had someone come to look at it after you reported it and now all is working. The wine glasses are not glass in case anyone should drop one while soaking in the hot tub. We didn’t want broken glass floating in there.
A wonderful long weekend with a great location. Yacht club nearby, dam for walking at sunrise and splashing in the water, minutes from historic Fort Louden for exploring, and wooded trails for walking near a huge pickleball club! Eat at Calhouns if you get a chance - the best ribs! Loved our time in the house at night too. The snore around the campfire were appreciated by all.
Terrific vacation rental. Easy to get to, very well equipped, great layout. The host is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. You will enjoy your stay at this property.
My brother and our wives came down for the weekend to get away. Property was gorgeous, exactly as described and very well maintained. Check in was easy and had absolutely no issues. Will definitely come back.
Our family was split between two homes in Tellico Village and really loved this house. It was very charming, well decorated, comfortable and clean. Kathy was the perfect hostess. We would most definitely stay there again.
My husband and I with his siblings stayed in this magnificent cottage - house for 3 nights - great location - easy to get too, extremely clean and beyond accommodating! Felt like home 😊I would highly recommend this place ..

The home provided us a quiet retreat in a beautiful area. It is spacious and beautifully decorated. Loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day at work and the bed was very comfortable. Our host was as sweet as could be. I hope to return here in the future.
Went to dollar store and purchased coffee pot rather than one cup at a time. Have experienced this before at rentals. Everyone had an enjoyable time, better if UT had won.
The home is conveniently located, well appointed and comfortable. I would suggest putting a bed in the third bedroom as opposed to a hide a bed. Other than that, everything was great.
This home has all the extras. From heated towel racks in all bathrooms to the hot tub for 2. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking for gatherings. The carport was a nice shaded space to play ladderball (brought from home). The landscaping is beautiful and there is a nice walkway to enjoy it. There is an abundance of towels in each bathroom. Commmunication with host is easy and quick to respond. I highly recommend this lovely home.
Great property! Love the layout on the main floor with 2 king size bedrooms and baths off the den/kitchen area. Since it was only four of us, we didn’t really explore the downstairs, but the entire house would be very roomy for anyone staying with children/teenagers. The enclosed sunroom was roomy and a great spot to hang out in the evenings with windows open. Hot tub is only for two but super clean! Kitchen was clean (appliances look new) and we loved the smores station. Kathy was a great host and excellent with communication. We really enjoyed our time at this cozy cottage and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area ☺️
Need some sort of hand rail at carport steps. Make guests aware of no coffee pot other than Kurig, I went prepare with coffee and different sizes of filters. Not a big deal, just a thought.

George,
Thank you for the valuable feedback. I have added to the coffee maker description “Kuerig” and we will consider putting in a handrail. We are happy you enjoyed your stay!

About the host

We are in love with East Tennessee! There are so many beautiful vistas and the people are so friendly. Tellico Village development is safe and has many outdoor amenities to enjoy from water sports to golfing, dining and walking the trails through the woods or along the dam.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is quiet, but not so secluded that shopping and entertainment are far away. The streets are all paved, well marked and lit at night.
What makes this property unique
Woodside Cottage is in a tree lined, upscale neighborhood in the heart of Tellico Village. It is close to Lake Loudon and central to day trips to Knoxville with University of Tennessee events, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee wineries, Gatlinburg and the Appalachian Trail. However, two gas log fireplaces, a two-person hot tub, an outdoor fire pit, outdoor patio and gas grill all make it fun to just stay in. Great location for year- round vacationing.
