This was the perfect space for family ski week. It was so cozy, huge, and close to palisades. All the little cousins and friends got to sleep in the bunk bed room and go to ski school together. It was a wonderful trip! Thank you for helping to making our annual Ski Week reunion that much sweeter than last year with the perfect place to stay!
Plenty of bedrooms each with their own bath so lots of privacy. The great room on the main floor is spacious and has areas for games, puzzles, watching tv or just relaxing and enjoying a fire. The dining table is large and everyone can sit down and have a meal together. The house is close to skiing and just a 5 minute ride to the resort but tucked away in a cul-de-sac with hiking/walking trails out the front door.
We had 8 adults for an early Christmas celebration. Tons of space for watching movies, playing games and doing puzzles. Breathtaking views from family room! House is very well equipped for a large group. Lots of stairs as other reviewers have said but we had a young, agile group so not an issue. We just need more snow in Tahoe!!
The house was amazing! The views were outstanding, an excellent place to drink coffee in the morning and have a cocktail in the evening. There was plenty of room for our very large extended family, and we enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner in the beautiful dining room. I was worried about cooking Thanksgiving dinner in a VRBO kitchen, but I shouldn't have been. This kitchen had everything we needed and more. It was just perfect, and our kids are begging us to make this an annual event!
It wasn't cheap but well worth it... go for it!
We stayed with 2 Families with 11 people total and it was the absolute perfect house for us! We got snowed in two of the days so we got good use of the massive open space on the second floor that makes up the kitchen, living room, sitting, room, and dining room.
Management was amazing as well, digging us out when it was time to get to the slopes and "Bob" even drove a blender to us in a blizzard because ours broke... despite us telling him it could certainly wait till the snow clears.

Hi Glenn:
We are pleased to have you and your guests enjoy our property. Appreciate your stay was very satisfactory! Hopefully, the remainder of 2023 will be full of happiness and good health.
Sincerely, Greg
The code listed to enter the house is not accurate, it took us 20 minutes of waiting in the cold and many phone calls to be able to open the garage.Cleaning crew is not doing a good job as sheets were stained, bathroom mats were never washed etc.Shower faucet broke and water didn't stop running we needed to shut off main valve for hours to stop the water until Dave came the next day to fix it.
Very comfortable house with plenty of space. Quick response from property caretaker to address heat and deliver a fresh propane tank. Views were great as we looked back at where we had skied during the day.
Our group does an annual ski trip and chose Palisades Tahoe this year, and it did not disappoint! The house was incredible, great for a big group or a large family.
Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Tahoe, with great access to the town and the resort lift via on-demand shuttle.
This lovely home was perfect for 2 families - clean, spacious and fully stocked! Location is amazing for skiing in/out of Squaw Creek. I will definitely be back!
Stayed a week at this beautiful house, located near the Resort at Squaw Creek. If you want to ski at Squaw/Palisades Tahoe, it is really so much better to stay in the Valley as you get to avoid all the traffic on Hwy 89. It's a short drive to the ski area and if you don't ski there is also a pathway that is easy to access and plowed for pedestrians that takes you to the Village. This was our second time staying in the house which is beautifully furnished, warm and comfortable. The fact that all the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms is GREAT. Would stay there again!
The house is wonderfully appointed with a lot of great details.
- large master bedroom bathroom with jacuzzi tub and ham man shower
- incredible kitchen with superb appliances and all the tools and pots you will need to feed your very large family
- great window through large bay windows
- lots of fireplaces
I recommend this gem highly.
Our family was in the Tahoe area for a wedding in Olympic Valley and this house was the perfect place to stay! Great location - convenient to wedding site and Lake Tahoe functions and a playground walking distance away on a path. The large living, dining, and kitchen area were just what we were looking for and so very comfortably furnished. Bedrooms with private baths spread out and well furnished. Although most of our dinners were away from the house, the kitchen was extremely well stocked. We enjoyed our family time in this house and would definitely recommend this property when in the Tahoe area.

Incredible house - great for families
Smokey stay in Squaw which had nothing to do with the property owner but heart the stay for sure. It was record temps so no ac was tough but I feel like the ownership did their best with fans and swamp coolers. Great house but the tech was weak, really only 2tv. Gorgeous kitchen and dining area. It was nice but maybe not worth the price.
We loved all the space this cabin provided us - the location was also great as it was close to Tahoe City, Lake Tahoe and also Squaw Valley.
Unfortunately we came during a very warm week for Tahoe, and the lack of air conditioning made for a warm cabin. We did reach out to the property manager and they installed window air conditioners while we were there which was much appreciated. The property owners were always quick to reply and very helpful.
This home exceeds expectations in it's grandeur! We felt like royalty. The views from the large living room windows were amazing and furnishings were comfortable. Substandard cleaning in kitchen and master bath on our arrival was the only negative.

Beautiful home. Convenient Location.
We had a terrific time. Super close to the lifts and the village. Walking distance from the nordic skiing at the resort at Squaw Creek. Glorious views, and one of the most beautifully designed half bathrooms I've ever seen (think of a room made out of bark). The property manager was efficient and accommodating and flexible. We had a great time with our family.
