Spacious and modern apartment situated in a beach resort with swimming pool and fantastic ocean, beach and mountain views. Air conditioning in all rooms.

Beautiful sunset and beach views from the balcony where you can relax and enjoy the good weather of Madeira island. Situated in Formosa Beach, the apartment has everything you need for a dream holiday. With big balcony and private rooftop terrace, big living and dining room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the apartment is suitable for 2, 4 or 6 people (not suitable for small children).

This is a spacious and comfortable three bedroom apartment with a great view over the Atlantic Ocean to the south-east. With a large balcony, and a private rooftop terrace, the apartment was designed to take full advantage of the sunlight and the sea view.

From the balcony it is possible to see beautiful sunsets, while enjoying a drink or a meal. You can also relax and take some sun in the sun chairs in the private balcony with total privacy. A rooftop terrace with sunbeds and garden furniture also available with direct access from the apartment.

From the modern and spacious living room you have big glass windows to access to the balcony, where you can have a great view to the ocean. Having breakfast at the balcony, or dinner while enjoy a beautiful sunset, can be a unforgettable experiences.

From the master bedroom you can also enjoy the view to the gardens and sea, even from the bed. For more privacy this room has a ensuite bathroom with shower and bath.

The well-equipped kitchen gives you the opportunity to prepare your meals.

Great property, lovely holiday

Apartment views are fantastic especially as the sun sets! The apartment is also great and we’ll kept! There are plenty of kitchen items to use including a dishwasher and coffee maker! It’s ideal for a relaxing holiday! The owner provides plenty of assistance as well with places to visit or restaurants! We had a great time!

The sound of the surf pounding the shore, the stunning view and the spacious rooms all made for a beautiful holiday. Our host arranged our cabs to and from the airport and an exciting jeep tour. There was a welcoming chilled bottle of Portuguese wine waiting for us in the fridge. While we enjoyed the long walk along the beach to Câmara de Lobos, we mostly used Bolt to get around the neighborhood. The walk under the tunnel to the local convenience store took us along some caves—very scenic.

Home away from home

The apartment is spacious and has all the comforts. The views and sunsets alone are priceless. The host was very kind and helpful. Our family of 6 really enjoyed our time there. There is a lot of space in and outside the apartment to move around even with a group of 6. The location was great a lot of great bars and restaurants and also easy to get a taxi (bolt). You can also enjoy hearing the waves and there is a natural pool within walking distance.

Fantastic Location

I did our best to experience the entire island and when we were not out exploring, we had this wonderful place to come back to. The balcony was great in the morning, afternoon, evening and at night with moon shimmering off the ocean. It is an easy walk to the fishing village with black sand beaches along the way. In the other direction there is a volcanic pool swimming area and fabulous dining options. We took a number of tours and did a variety of activities all over the island but staying here gave us relaxing experiences close by.

Great place to stay!! Nothing but positive things to say… absolutely perfect spot to relax on vacation and away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough if you’d like to partake. Nyara had excellent communication and gave many recommendations for restaurants etc. for our stay. The apartment has everything you need and both the balcony and rooftop terrace, showcase the beautiful view of the ocean and cliffs… Stunning! Been disappointed by a few stays that we’ve had at various other online bookings. This will not disappoint. Thank you to our hosts!!

Regarding to the capsules for the coffee machine, in the apartment there was some for your start and in the supermarket close to the apartment you have it too... you just need to look for the proper type of capsules (there are several brands of coffee capsules on the market).

12 day first time family holiday in Madeira

Appartment is large, very clean, extremely well equipped with lovely views. We stayed in August and the area was still not noisy or overly busy, but there was lots to do and bus transport was really easy. My teenage daughters loved the easy access to the pool and sea. Communication with the owner was excellent- she contacted us before and during our stay via WhatsApp and there was also plenty of information in the appartment to help us organise our activities.

Traumhafter Blick mit Dachterasse direkt am Strand

Aufgrund einer sehr lauten Baustelle vor der eigentlich gebuchten Wohnung brauchten wir sehr schnell ein Ausweichquartier. Das haben wir in der Wohnung von Nyara gefunden. Die Wohnung liegt ganz oben (8. Stock) in einem ehemaligen App-Hotel-Komplex und man hat einen tollen Blick über die Bucht von Sao Martinho. Sie hat einen supertollen großen Balkon, der zum Westen ausgerichtet ist und den man mit Markisen verschatten kann. Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine Dachterasse, die Sonne auch schon in den frühen Morgenstunden bietet. Zum Gebäude gehört ein Gemeinschaftspool mit einer sehr angenehmen Wassertemperatur. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und wenn wir wieder mal nach Madeira kommen, werden wir uns an Nyara wenden. Danke für die gute Tipps :)

Lovely appartment, very clean, great, very helpful manager

The allartment is well appointed and very clean. everything you could need is provided. The balcony faces the sea and gets the sun all day. Nyara, the manager, is extremley helpful and easy to contact. The surrounding area and some aspects of the building could be better, bur overall we enjoyrd our stay and wouild go back.

2 Weeks at Prestana Gardens

Excellent accommodation in a lovely position directly overlooking the beach. All mod cons, and a very high standard of fixtures and fittings. Beautiful views from the balcony and roof terrace. Nice big pool, never overcrowded, and direct access on to the beach. A little bit out of town, and a steep walk up the hill or the steps, but taxis are cheap, plentiful and easy to irder. Accommodion manager was lovely, really helpful and lots of good advice when needed. 4 nice bar/restaurants located on the beach nearby, a bar and restaurant next door as well. We had an excellent holiday, thank you

Best Location on the Island

My Husband and I stayed here for 16 nights. The accommodations were perfect. Very clean, breathtaking view. The location was excellent - it's away from the busy area of downtown Funchal but still accessible. We didn't need a car. It was a 10 minute walk to the grocery store and a few nice restaurants. We walked into Funchal (about 45 minutes to the start of the downtown area) and from there walked into old town. We had planned on taking a bus back, however, we walked home as well. If you enjoy walking, it's not a problem. We also walked to the fishing village of Camara de Lobos - about 35 minutes. Really nice place to go for lunch. Niara was very helpful and gave us many tips and great advice. She checked in with us during our holiday to make sure that things were okay. I would also highly recommend that you ask Niara to arrange a jeep tour with Miguel. We took 2 off-roading tours with him of the island. He's an excellent guide and makes the day really fun. We will definitely be back to Madeira and we will stay at this apartment again. Many thanks Niara and Miguel.

Yes, it is true we are in an unique location by the beach, in Formosa beach, in the middle of a walking path along the coast that starts in Lido and finish in Câmara de Lobos, with breathtaking views. The way to Funchal is short if you take the main road (where you can find the busses running) but this walking path, although taking more time, is much more beautiful and enjoyable with natural pools and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants with esplanades by the sea. It was all my pleasure giving you the best tips for having the best holiday as possible! You will always welcome here!

Tranquil apartment by the sea & gardens

I was looking for a tranquil apartment but it was twice better what I was expecting! Waiking up with the birds singing or taking my breakfasts at the balcony overlooking the sea is something I will never forget! With huge glass windows with sliding doors opening onto the huge balcony, I was surprised that I would see amazing views either from the living room but also from the bedroom and even from the kitchen! I spend one relaxing week here and I would never have had to leave it! Very spacious and well apointed, the apartment has everything you need for a tranquil and comfortable staying, making you fell at home all the time. I'll be back for sure!!
