The Strandcastle boasts magnificent views of the white sand, Oceano dunes, and gorgeous blue Pacific Ocean from the floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. The Strand is a very special strip of homes right on the beach and it is the ONLY strip of homes on the beach where you can walk out the door onto the sand on the entire Central Coast.

There is plenty of room for your families to sprawl out in this 3,120 square foot home with 2 large living rooms, multiple indoor/outdoor dining areas, a gourmet kitchen, a wet bar, 4 large bedrooms, and 3 baths. Discover the laid-back allure of the Central Coast with a seamless blend of coastal delights. Wander along the shoreline to reach Pismo Beach, explore the scenic Oceano dunes and nearby hiking trails, or opt for a leisurely horseback ride. Beach House

We had an amazing time at this beach house! The location was perfect—just steps from the water, and the views were incredible. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was fantastic, always quick to respond and made sure we had a smooth experience from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely stay here again!

Family Pismo Trip

It was such a great time at strandcastle. The house was perfecr for our family. The views from almost every room was a bonus. We cooked in both nights of our stay, and we had no problems with finding dishes, pots and pans etc. Plenty of space to spread out. We also enjoyed the walks on beach and the fire pit at night. We would definitely recommend this stay and we cant wait ro return. Thank you

Great family vacation spot

We had 12 family members (ages ranged from 75-10) travel to take Grandma to her favorite location - the beach! The views were beautiful!! It was a very comfortable home, with plenty of space to hang out. The weather didn’t permit us to hang out much outside, but when it wasn’t raining the grandparents could relax on the recliners while the rest of the family walked to the beach. The kids loved collecting shells and watching the sea gulls. We had a movie night and a game night. We all wished we could have stayed longer! The owner, Mauri, was very responsive and helpful! Thank you for everything!

Overpriced Rental with Misleading Listing and Noisy Location

I am writing this review to share my experience staying at this vacation rental. Unfortunately, I found the property to be significantly overpriced given the conditions and location.The house is situated directly at the entrance of the sand dunes, resulting in constant noise and heavy traffic from large trucks and vehicles exiting the beach. This traffic persists throughout the entire day until approximately 10 PM, making it impossible to enjoy a peaceful environment. Additionally, the beach in front of the house is not suitable for family activities, as it serves primarily as a roadway for vehicles rather than a recreational space.Another major issue was the misleading property description. The listing included photos of a fire pit in front of the house, along with instructions on where to obtain firewood. Naturally, we assumed this was part of the rental. However, on our second day, an elderly woman began taking photos of my family and young children sitting near the fire pit. When I approached her, she informed me that she was the owner of the neighboring property and that the fire pit did not belong to the rental. This was an uncomfortable and frustrating experience, as the listing gave no indication that this amenity was off-limits.Furthermore, the checkout process was unpleasant. The listing states that checkout is at 10 AM, which is precisely when the cleaning staff arrived. The individual did not introduce herself and was noticeably rude, particularly about som

We’d like to clarify a few key points for future guests. This guest brought a dog into the home, violating our clearly stated no-pet policy, which exists to protect those with severe allergies. Despite multiple messages, we received no response. Per our house rules, this could have resulted in eviction and a $500 violation fee, but we chose not to enforce either and only charged for the necessary deep cleaning. The review appears to be in response to that charge. The home is directly on Pismo State Beach, which famously allows vehicles to travel along the water’s edge to the dunes. This is a well-known feature attraction of the area. Many guests book this property specifically for its beachfront access and expansive views. Regarding the fire pit, our photos show the beach and surroundings to reflect the location. The vegetation shown in older photos has recently been cleared, creating an awesome sandy area in front of the home. This space is surrounded by natural foredunes, and beyond that is the portion of beach where vehicles are allowed to drive. We would have been happy to clarify the fire pit and beach chair’s location had the guest reached out. Checkout is at 10 AM, our cleaners are scheduled accordingly. We love hosting and take pride in providing an exceptional experience. We’re saddened by this situation, as most of our guests are thoughtful, communicative, and often return year after year. Our white glove approach is at the heart of what we do, always.
