Uber & Lyft: Both services operate in the Lake Tahoe area. Availability may vary, especially during peak times, so check the app for wait times and ride options.
Local Taxis
Traditional taxi services are also available. It’s a good idea to have contact numbers for local taxi companies handy.
Public Transit
TART Connect & Bus: The Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit (TART) offers local bus routes and on-demand TART Connect service. The nearest stop is at Obexer’s Market (Hwy 89 at Grand Ave), about 1.5 miles from the cabin. From there, you can catch Route ML or Route Hwy 89 buses to explore the west shore of Lake Tahoe and Truckee.

•The cabin is located in a bear-prone area. For your safety, the entrance is equipped with a bear deterrent (electric guard). Please use it as instructed to keep wildlife away.

1. Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement/check-in form that you are required to sign and return before your arrival.
2. If you are local and / or under the age of 23 please notify us before making your reservation.
3. *In case of Waivo insurance* We will charge a small, non-refundable damage waiver fee to cover any potential accidental property damage during your stay. This fee replaces the traditional security deposit.
4. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform`s cancellation policy.
5. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; please be respectful of the neighbors.
6. No parties or events allowed.
7. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.
8. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.
9. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund.
10. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.
12. No Pets Allowed.
13. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.
14. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera.
15. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a $50 Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week.
16. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.
17. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.
