With thoroughly enjoyed this property. Had a beautiful view, and the host was very prompt to reply and the lodging was in excellent condition. We highly recommend this location.
Perfect house in great location. Very clean and well supplied. House manager was very responsive to any questions I had. I’d recommend this place to anyone with family or friends.
We had a very relaxing stay in a small Florida town with all the ambience the Everglades have to offer. The home was in a pleasant location on a small lake; had everything we needed or wanted for an enjoyable stay; and was very very clean, tidy and well-appointed. Easy communication with the owner/manager made for a delightful 4 night stay.
This is a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath home with gorgeous views. The screened in porch made watching the sunrise perfect every morning (especially when visiting during mosquito season). The owners of this home have gone out of their way by supplying many little things not normally available and made our stay even more special (coffee supplies, shampoo/conditioner, cotton swabs and make up wipes, bottled water and snacks etc). Great place and we cant wait to get back during crab season!!
The house accommodations were spot on for our needs. The location on the river is fantastic! We walked to the Gun and Rod Club for dinner. Excellent! We took an airboat ride with Wootens. Another hit for all. Our 7 person party ranges from 7 to 90 yrs old.
This property is wonderful! From the location, to the amazing amenities. You do not have to bring anything besides your clothes and food. There was an abundance of towels, dishes, silverware, coffee, cream, sugar, they even have disposable aluminum pans! They thought of everything! They even have a goodie bowl of candy when you walk in! We will definitely stay here again. Even the neighbors were wonderful! We caught crabs off the back dock, sat on the screened in porch and watched the sunset, listened to music and had a true, relaxing vacation! We got the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Eddie, and he was great! If there were 10 stars for this place, i would leave them all 10! We rent long term vacation homes in the Everglades every year, this is the best one yet!!
We really enjoyed our two days in Everglades City, and the Everglades House made it possible. The house was clean, comfortable, and very well-stocked. It was within walking distance of several restaurants, and a very short drive to the airboat rides, other restaurants, Chokoloskee Island (highly recommend HavAnna's restaurant and the Smallwood museum), and the Everglades City museum (highly recommend!). Loved getting up early and watching the sunrise from the back screened deck. We didn't get a chance to try the kayaks or bicycles, but appreciated having them available. Trails for walking within a 20 minute drive (Deep Lake trail!!), and Marco Island isn't too far away (highly recommend the Marco Island historical museum!). A great location with lots to do! Host responded to messages/questions within the hour, sometimes minutes!
This is a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. The view from the inside is magnificent. It is breathtaking waking up to the sunrises. William is a great host. He answered any questions we had very quickly.

What makes this property unique
This is a two-story home. The first floor includes a storage room where you will find bicycles, a kayak and fishing gear for your use (we ask that you leave these items in the condition you find them). You'll also have room to park two orthree vehicles below two separate covered porches. Towards the back you'll find an 80 foot deck overlooking the bay along with a cleaning station, in the event that you catch fish! The second floor is an open-concept home with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and includes an 80 foot screened-in porch overlooking the bay!
Make sure you bring your cameras - for the wildlife and nature-scenes are breathtaking! You’re likely to see an array of animals from the dock including birds, dolphins, manatees, fish, crabs, alligators, crocodiles, and sharks. You can also enjoy excursions and activities like airboat tours, eco/wildlife-tours, fishing guides, bicycling, kayaking, walk the nature trails, local museums, shops, local bars and restaurants. The most impressive aspect about this home is its location. It is in the heart of the Everglades and the famous 10,000 Islands. The adventures are limitless! We look forward to hosting you! Lastly, while you enjoy your stay, please do not go swimming from the dock and do not leave minors unattended. There is an abundance of wildlife and although we are unaware of any accidents, we do want you to have a safe and pleasant stay.
