The property was Great! A few things: you could use a few more "rock/drinking" glasses, water at kitchen sink never got hot, & you should highlite the deck more. Really a great place to hang out.

Thank you Dwayne, I tried the kitchen sink after your stay. Despite taking a short moment, it did get quite hot. I apologize you had trouble, and I will continue to monitor the issue. Rocks glasses have been added and I will post additional pictures of the porch, great advice. Thank you again!
This is as nice a place as you will ever hope to find. Super clean all around, did not see a single bug of any kind, with high quality appliances and bath fixtures. Convenient to everything you might want to do in this area. Plenty of parking for cars and boat trailer with wash down hose. Host sent check in list that covered everything so well I never needed to contact him. Perfect stay!

Gray, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I appreciate the kind works and positive feed back. I hope you'll find your way back and stay with us again.
This place is an absolute gem! We come down and stay in Everglades City quite a bit and this is hands down our favorite place.Old style Cracker House with modern upgrades…(You will fall in love with the shower!)We also cook our own catch and the kitchen and cookware were amazing, all high quality! Super relaxing drinking coffee on the screened in porch in the morning!
Host was very welcoming and replied promptly. I had an issue with accessing the home and he answered and got me in within a few minutes. The home is nicer than it is advertised. Very well furnished and well stocked. The location is perfect for exploring the Everglades.
This house was hands down my favorite house I’ve ever stayed at before!! Not only was it in a perfect spot the house itself was perfect for my husband and I! Geoff is the best host I mean anytime I texted Geoff whether it was during our stay or a month or two before our stay Geoff got back to me right away!! There’s also so many amenities they have for you at this house to make it relaxing without having to worry about the little things! It was the most relaxing and cleanest place I’ve stayed at and when returning to the Everglades or even Naples I will be staying here again! I’m basing my next trip off of the availability of Geoff’s house that’s how much we fell in love with it and felt right at home!!
The house was great. But if you're looking for a 2 bedroom place with 2 separate spaces, this really only has one bedroom with an area of the house able to handle a few more sleepers... Kitchen was fully equipped and everything throughout the house was top quality. Of course being an old guy, I had trouble working the TV... A house in the Everglades filled with stuff by an owner who appreciates/loves the Everglades.
Super cool house, very authentic, well kept and unique to the area - walking distance to a few cool spots such as the bait shop / cafe, a park and Rod and Gun. Fully stocked with helpful supplies (toiletries, ziploc bags, coffee etc). Worth noting the house is dog friendly so if you are allergic or sensitive to hair, take note. Also, the top bunk of the bunkbed is not really usable - there is i no safe ladder or stairs to access it. Just noting as I know bed configurations are important for rental homes. Otherwise, really awesome house.
