About this property
Everglades Wilderness Vacation
Plantation House is a 2000 square foot fully-modern modular home tucked away in a mangrove forest with over 230 feet of water frontage. The home comfortably sleeps 6 in 3 separate bedrooms. . The master bedroom includes a large bathroom suite with separate shower and spacious bathtub.
Just a 5-minute trip from Half Way Creek and the Everglades National Waterway, Plantation House provides some of the best fishing, kayaking, canoeing and sight seeing anywhere in the world.
The Florida Everglades and surrounding Ten Thousand Islands are a nature lovers paradise. In a single outing, one can observe rare wild orchids, bromileads, giant cypress, alligators, wild boar, wild turkey, deer, eagles, spoonbills, and other wildlife. And, because the Ten Thousand Islands provide some of the best fishing in Florida, catching your own fresh seafood dinner is possible even for fishing beginners.
In nearby Everglades City, you can enjoy eating out at any of the several excellent seafood restaurants, experience an exciting airboat ride into the heart of the Everglades, or visit the museums on historic Chokoloskee Island. For adventure-lovers, there are also the very popular swamp buggy tours that allow you to view very remote areas surrounding the Big Cypress National Preserve.
Please come and enjoy a close up and unforgettable adventure into Florida's last remaining wilderness.
