About this property

Getaway in the Everglades

Escape from the big city to the little City of Everglades! Centrally located to explore the Everglades and other parks in Southwest Florida. This rental accommodates 4 people and is within walking distance of boat tours and local restaurants.

The house is a multi-family property and you will be staying in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the 2nd floor.

Both bedrooms are furnished with queen beds, and there is a spacious full bathroom with shower/ tub. There is also a full size futon in the living room. All linens are provided.

The living / dining / kitchen area has high ceilings and big sliding glass doors that you can open to let in tropical breezes. Or just open the curtains to enjoy the Florida sunshine and amazing sunsets in air conditioned comfort. The kitchen is equipped with plates, pots/ pans and utensils so you can cook your own meals. Or you can walk to several local restaurants. Although not shown in the photo, there is now a flat screen TV in the living room.

During your stay you will also have access to wireless internet.

In addition to the apartment, guests also have access to the tropical back yard with patio and hammock.

Rebecca's place was fantastic. Her place was comfortable and perfect for our needs. She was kind and accommodating when we had questions. It was the perfect location to base out for our Everglades kayaking adventures with my kids and mom. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great at our stay here. Rebecca, the host, was very helpful with suggestions before our trip regarding the grocery store and what to do in the area. The check in and out procedures were very easy. The accommodations were perfect for us, very well equipped and very clean, We especially enjoyed having the screened in porch to sit outside. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet and within walking distance of places to eat.

This place was so beautiful- even more beautiful than the photos. It was a perfect getaway for our Big Cypress weekend. Host was great as well. We kept saying it’s what our dream place would look like (-: will be back.

Everglades stay

My husband and I enjoyed our time in this lovely home. Although it is shared, we did not hear any of the neighbors. The neighborhood is very quiet and the home is walking distance to good food. The house itself was super comfortable and had everything we needed.

Very Comfortable and Homey Feel

I stayed for 10 nights at this property while fishing in Everglades City. It was very inviting to return to after a full day on the water fishing. It's well appointed, conveniently located and in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was very helpful and friendly with plenty of suggestions for enjoying the area. I look forward to returning sometime in the future.

Fishing weekend

The property is conveniently located in the center of town and within walking distance to most of the restaurants. The fishing is great in Everglades, we were there for peacock bass.

Perfect place for the Everglades

Great base for exploring the Everglades

The property was in the perfect spot to explore all the wonders of the Everglades. The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed. Extra points for a modern kitchen and roomy bath! Rebecca was very helpful letting us know about biking and hiking opportunities. We would definitely stay again on a return trip.

Very relaxing!

The location was perfect for my husband and myself! It was quiet and very welcoming. We prefer small town charm over big city hustle and bustle. It was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and sat out there every evening. Our host Rebecca was great! The locals in town were very friendly. We would definitely book again if we need a getaway from the snow! Thank you!

Check-in was very convenient. The unit was clean, spacious, and just perfect for our group. Coffee, creamer, Condiments, and pasta were all available for use, and many other items in the kitchen that were typically needed. Large binder was put together with local restaurant menus, attractions, and maps. Check out list was short and sweet. There were amazing books on the area available on shelves, games, puzzles, and cards for entertainment. Sunscreen and insect repellent on the porch. There was enough room for parking to the 2 vehicles we had. She even left her cell phone on the cabinet if we needed to reach her, and a personal welcome on the front door. We will definitely book here again!

Everglades home

Smooth rental and we loved the house. Our host even had shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom and salt and pepper etc in the kitchen. My only complaint is that the bathroom sink drains too slowly! Otherwise it was a cozy well decorated home. Thanks for renting to us!

I have worked, volunteered and played in many places in this area. If you like, I will share my experiences and suggest adventures on and off the beaten in the Everglades, hiking in the Big Cypress, swamp walking in the Fakahatchee....
