The apartment is in an excellent location in Trastevere. Easy to get to everything in Rome. Quiet, with a nice outside space. Riccardo was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay. Bonus that a wonderful bakery is right next door!

Place was just what we wanted.
Great price. Great location. Not 5 star accommodations but perfect for us. Had everything we needed and would stay here again if I am lucky enough to come back to Italy.

Great location. Easy to get around walking and by bus. Many nice restaurants, museums and shopping around the apt. Very quiet area. It was a pleasure to be in Rome at this apartment. Everything in the apartment was perfect and there was everything needed including a washing machine.
My daughter and I absolutely loved our stay at Riccardo’s place. Riccardo was very sweet. He provided clear instructions how to get to his place and met us there. The location was phenomenal. 10 min walk from the park where the view of the whole Rome opens up. Nice coffee shops just at your door. Grocery store - 6 min walk. Where you are looking to cook yourself or eat out - Riccardo’s place was perfect. We will stay with Riccardo in a heartbeat if we are in Rome again.

Thanks Yuliya and baby, entusiastic and lovely guests, full of life, see you soon
Great location in Trastevere. The apartment itself was adequate and Riccardo was responsive. Some suggestions that would make this place sensational would be: replace the kitchen table chairs (stained), better job on cleaning, include some chairs/table in the lovely courtyard for guest and a welcome gift and one sheet of paper with apartment info and recommendations would have been nice! Overall we enjoyed the experience that gave us a true Italian experience 😀
The home is exactly as in photos. location is great and bed is comfy. We had everything we needed for our stay and it was nice to have the door open to the courtyard. Bakeries, tortellini store downstairs and market right outside in the square everyday is amazing and area is quiet. We walked all over rome from this location and it was so convenient. also there are so many restos in trastevere we didn't have to go far for dinner. Highly recommend. We are just two so not sure how it would be with a bigger group.
My husband and I loved the location. Walking distance to the colosseum, trevi fountain and the basilica. The place was quiet yet close to plenty of restaurants. Air conditioning was fantastic. The suite had everything you would need…even laundry detergent, plenty of hangers and even a book to read while I was there! Our host knew we did not drink so greeted us with pizza upon our arrival which was much appreciated after a long day of travel. He was very accommodating as we were late on arrival and didn’t communicate that with him. It is a bit difficult to locate (as we found many things in Italy to be) just a gate/doorway and then you get into the apartment complex. The shared common area was shaded when we were outside so that was nice. I would stay here again!!!!

Arrivato Cheryl,mi complimento con te per gli ottimi spunti e il tuo spirito di osservazione.A presto, buon viaggio
Riccardo was a fantastic host from start to finish. Check-in was incredibly smooth, and he personally welcomed me and introduced me to the apartment, making me feel right at home. The place itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The location couldn’t have been better—just two minutes from the local markets, and five minute walk to supermarket, and some amazing patisseries. There are also plenty of restaurants and gelato spots nearby. It was also very easy to get around, with Tram 8 just a 5-minute walk away (straight to Piazza Venezia) and the H bus offering a direct connection to Roma Termini.Overall, the apartment was perfectly equipped, well-located, and made for a very enjoyable stay. Riccardo was kind, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. His place was like a home away from home. Thank you, Riccardo—I hope our paths cross again!Millie Grazie di nuovo Riccardo tu erano un fantastic host. Kind RegardsDario della Sydney, Australia

Wonderful Apartment and Neighborhood
We had a fantastic time in Riccardo's apartment in Trastevere! The apartment is spacious and relatively cool in the summertime. The neighborhood is one of the best in Rome--and the apartment is in an ideal location within Trastevere. One of the main piazzas is one block away--where they hold a daily farmer's market in the morning and a free cinema at night. (It reminded me of the square in Cinema Paradiso!)
Riccardo was a gracious and accommodating host who was always available when we needed him. He even helped me when I had to leave (sadly) a few days early due to my job.
We hope we return to Rome and stay in the apartment again! Thank you for everything.
The apartment is very small, but well equipped. Hot water, AC, fridge, washing machine, and internet, all worked great.
The best part of it by far is its location. Right in the heart of the Trastevere neighborhood and at walking distance to hundreds of cafés (aka bars) and restaurants.
It is also at walking distance to the Tevere river. This proved very useful when getting to the Vatican, Saint Peter's Basilica, and Saint Angelo Castle, as the river's bike path, devoid of crossings or red lights, is much faster to walk and certainly bike than the street.
We walked to the Colisseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish steps from the apartment too, but mostly for fun, as these places are a bit farther out.
Dining around the apartment is top notch. So many good places.
Overall, this is a great place to stay for a couple that has enough time to enjoy Rome at a slow pace.
The owner did not show up. We discovered the key in a mailbox after 2 hours of waiting. We searched in the mail boxes, the name of the owner did not appear anywhere. We were about to settle in a nearby hotel.
There were no written instructions concerning the use of appliances or safety measures.
The bathroom was full of mould and the door of the shower was broken. The chairs of the dining table were so filthy that we hesitated to sit on them.
In general, the apartment had the appearance of a storage of useless and ugly objects just there to fill the space. We have been renting apartments for the past 25 yers. This is our first very disapointing experience and we ask for a refund of 500 euros.

Good morning Robert, I am sorry for your opinion and I have already been busy with the maintenance of the shower compartment and cleaning of the armchairs. It was a problem with a customer who had a problem with liquid spills on the table and the stains were dabbed roughly, being a period of close arrivals. I usually do this maintenance in the low season with cleaning and replacement of dirty furnishings. The stains were due to repeated showers in the bathroom without subsequently airing the bathroom. Just a few drops of bleach were enough to make the covering clean and shiny again. The check in, I had written on the VRBO messenger instructions to enter, before your arrival, evidently you missed it and as soon as I returned to Rome I tried to contact you in every way without receiving answers. I came in person to knock on the door to meet you for this reason. I repeat my apologies for the poor service and I will do it as I have experienced for a month now to avoid other customers having to complain. I hope it was useful to stay in touch. Riccardo
My stay was Fantastic! This property was exactly what I was looking for, it was clean and comfortable and really well located! Close to good food, cafes, restaurants and grocery stores and markets if you want to stay in. Also very close to public transit in an area with enough foot traffic that I never felt unsafe even late at night or early morning. Riccardo was an excellent host! Easy to communicate with and quick to respond when I had any questions, very clear and welcoming! I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Rome!
