A little but very nice apartment (monotype) provided with air conditioning, bathroom with shower box, hair dryer, tv color, free Wifi, kitchen-corner, well equipped (two induction plates, micro-wave oven, electric italian type caffettiera, toaster) and panoramic terrace with awning, table, chairs and chaises-longues. For two persons. Located in the residential area of Janiculum-Monteverde Vecchio ,, near the Park of Villa Pamphili, ten minutes away from the center of Trastevere, 20 minutes by bus from the Coliseum. Restaurants, open sky market, supermarket, any kind of shops (a delicious ice-cream shop too!) in the same street or very near. Very good and very cheap-rotisseries pizzerias (also take-away)

This property is excellent - a small place to stay with the amenities you need, managed by Maurizio, a wonderful man who picked us up from the train station and not only brought us to the Studio, but also took us on a tour around the neighbourhood and showed us nearby views and monuments, with the best and most affordable recommendations for food. Maurizio wanted to take us on a longer tour but we didn't have the time in our stay, but the next time I go to Rome, the first person I'll call is Maurizio!

Property is great for a short break , in a good area with plenty of local shops and places to eat. Good bus service from the stop outside with a 5 min trip into the city, great terrace to sit and eat , and it is peaceful.

I cannot recommend this studio enough. It is in a perfect location- not too close to major tourist attractions but close enough that it is very easy to travel to them. The patio/terrace provides spectacular views of the city and is even better at sunset. The actual studio is spacious and clean. I will be coming back!

Great location/welcoming host/wonderful terrace

Small, well equipped, secure, wonderful neighborhood and amenities. Thus was our first time in Rome and i cannot imagine imagine a better combination of access to sites and activities and opportunities to see how how one part of Rome lives.

Amazing stay!

The apartment was very clean! It’s perfect for 1-2 people. Maurizio is very very nice and helpful, full of advice and tips about Rome. The terrace is very spacious and beautiful. I highly recommend!!

Fabulous Studio apartment in Rome

The studio was actually a bit larger than I’d anticipated and was perfect for me and my teenager to share. We both loved the terrace, as most days of our stay it was warm enough to have breakfast and dinner out there, with views of the sunset over the Trastevere rooftops. The bed was very comfortable and all necessary items were provided in both the bathroom and kitchen. Our host, Maurizio, could not have been more kind and helpful! As others have mentioned (which was why I booked this place!), he collected us from the local train station and also gave us about an hour’s guided tour (by car) of the local Gianicolo Hill area.

Amazing Experience

A Lovely Apartment & Thoughtful Host

Grazie mille Maurizio! Maurizio picked us up from the Trastevere train station, and after acquainting us with the apartment -including the lovely private terrace - took us on an overview-of-Trastevere tour! We were able to easily walk to the main attractions of Rome (e.g., The Colosseum), but there is also a regualrly serviced bus stop.close by. We wouldn't hesistate to stay here again.

Great stay in Rome!

A great little neighborhood, out of the madness of central Rome but still very accessible. I love walking and was able to get everywhere I wanted on foot (about 40 mins to the center and 10-15 more up to the Villa Borghese), but many might need to take the bus into town (which apparently stops right out front of the property). Mauritzio was so kind and even picked me up from the train station and gave me a mini tour around the area. Grazie mille Mauritzio!

Perfect location

This studio has a wonderful patio, extending the living space and giving guests a nice view. The location is perfect, in a real Roman neighborhood, away from the craziness of the tourist areas. It’s very easy to get anywhere you want to go, with major bus lines very close and easy to use. The neighborhood has restaurants, groceries, cafes, parks, and shops very close. The property manager, Maurizio, is friendly and knowledgeable. He even picked us up at the train station and gave us a little tour to get acclimated. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Stay in Rome

I had a great time staying at Maurizio's property during my short stay in Rome. Rome was my first stop on a 3-month trip through Europe and it went very smoothly because of Maurizio's advice and lovely place. The terrace was incredible and really captured the feeling of the trip. Maurizio showed me around on the first day which helped me greatly understand Rome and travel with ease. The neighborhood was nice and Maurizio provided great recommendations on where to eat. Overall, I had a lovely stay in this property and highly recommend it for any traveler looking for a place in Rome with a little extra care and attention.

Perfect!

Words cannot express how wonderful our stay was! Maurizio was the most gracious host! Communication with WhatsApp before and during our stay was great and appreciated to make us feel comfortable on our first trip to Italy. He picked us up at the Trastevere train station and gave us a historical driving tour of the neighborhood with much advice! We left feeling like Maurizio was our new friend. Loved the neighborhood and the convenient location to both Vatican, Colosseum, and Spanish Steps. We mostly walked and felt safe, but there were always taxis in the square close by. Loved the view from our private rooftop veranda! Bed was comfortable. Very clean! We enjoyed the coffee and pastry shop across the street every morning! Best restaurants nearby. We will definitely love to stay here again when in Rome! Thanks so much for everything, Maurizio!

Price Is King

The Host is very accommodating. He graciously picked us up at the Trastavere Train Station. This really saved us the walk with luggage and saved taxi fare. The location; a bus stop #75, is directly in front of the property. Elevator takes you to the fourth floor where there is a landing of stairs to an upper floor. At the top there is a security door that opens to a large terrace. Entry to the living accomaditation opens with another security door. The room; is small but functional. A queen bed served us well, although we are accustomed to king size. The shower is a bit small; you will not be showering together to save water or otherwise. There is air-conditioning. I would say two to seven day stay is reasonable depending on your appreciation of price over luxury. We felt safe and comfortable enough. This is not luxury; but price is king.

The best stay in Rome - Ever!

This was genuinely one of the best apartment rentals we have had. I would like to thank and pay tribute to our hosts Mr and Mrs Rosati were wonderful to us. We were welcomed even before we arrived in Rome. Maurizio (Mr Rosati) contacted me several times before we arrived giving advice on how to get the the apartment and was waiting for us when we arrived by taxi. He showed us the ropes and then volunteered to show is the neighbourhood to get our bearings for where to eat and by provisions. I had read this in other reviews, however he then took us to various parts of the district which overlooked the city of Rome and other areas where we could see Vatican City. He is so knowledgeable and it was wonderful to be driven around and hearing about the city from a proud Roman. We are both really grateful to Maurizio and his wife for their kindness and welcome. The apartment is a good size, with everything you need. The terrace is absolutely wonderful and really the photos on the site don't really do it justice. We loved the district of Monteverde and Travestere and so much nicer than staying in the city itself. We cannot recommend this apartment and the hosts more highly. Thank you Maurizio for your patience and help in getting us a taxi and we look forward to our next visit!

Cozy studio. The location is amazing, very safe and with lots of restaurants and coffee shops near by. Also the bus stop is right by the entrance of the building. We took bus 75 straight to the colosseum. There is a metro station 9min walk, we took the train bus to the Vatican city. The terrace is such a nice area to relax, we had breakfast and lunch there. Maurizio the host is such a nice and kind man, couldn't ask for a better host. He picked us up from the train station and took us on a tour around the neighborhood explained the history of the area. He was always available to answer questions and make suggestions. We used the laundry mat services near by (3min walk) recommended by Maurizio. I highly recommend Maurizio' studio to anyone visiting Rome. We hope to be back again soon. Grazie Maurizio!

Maurizio ist ein sehr netter und kontaktfreudiger Gastgeber. Er ist sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht und hat uns eine private Tour durch die Umgebung gegeben. Die Unterkunft hat eine gute Bus- und Bahnverbindung, sodass selbst das Zentrum innerhalb von 20-30 Minuten zu erreichen ist. Es ist fußläufig ebenso angenehm zu reisen. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe gegeben und die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sodass man sich auch selbst gut verpflegen kann.

Nice place, great host. Stay is in a quieter neighborhood. Good bus service. I only wish the host could boost the wifi, because it doesn't work on the terrace. Also, I cannot get the television from antenna view to cable view. I will likely be back again.

Mooie lokatie met een groot overdekt dakterras. Alle winkels in de directe omgeving aanwezig. Eigenaar was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Haalde ons van het station op en bracht ons er ook weer heen na onze vakantie. Gaf informatie over de buurt.
