This review could have easily been 4 stars. Please allow me to share the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. The Good: condo is in a beautiful old building, very secure, and in an excellent location. We loved the views from the private balcony; The Bad: we didn’t realize the lift does not go up to the penthouse. We could not navigate the twisty spiral in the stairs safely with our bigger luggage and had to leave them stacked in the stairwell as we carried our clothing up the stairs. Upon check in the AC was off and the unit 32C, taking several nights to reach 25C. Ugly: Prior to our arrival, we asked for an early check in (or luggage storage), and the name of the building (next to Eliseo Hotel) for our taxi driver. We were curtly told that the instructions had already been given. The luggage storage recommended was closed (Sunday) and we spent 45 minutes wandering around before we decided to leave our luggage in the hallway where we inadvertently met Tom, who kindly offered to store our luggage. The host immediately messaged calling us rude and sending us a charge for storage. Yet it took several days of messages to get the response from the host that the AC was working properly? As a licensed HVAC contractor, I suggest it is undersized. I might also mention we own 20 properties and manage several 1,000 a night VRBO rentals. If ever a tenant or guest has a concern, we offer a solution instead of an excuse. There are other fine places nearby for warmer weather or easier access.

Dear guests, the apartment is on 2 floors. There is a staircase, not an elevator, to access the terrace. You repeatedly rang the doorbell early morning while there were still other guests, and you wanted to enter the house, breaking all the rules. The guests who were still in the house got scared by your shouting and made you leave the luggage. It was a terrible experience and an unmanageable situation. The air conditioning works perfectly. You had set the remote to 10 degrees. 10 degrees means a freezer. It's impossible for the room to reach that temperature.

Incredible Rome Loft

Everything about this property was fantastic! The host’s instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and just as inviting with INCREDIBLE views of the city as shown in the pictures. I have every intention of coming back to Rome and I hope I can stay at this property!

The most amazing view

Fantastic location. The apartment had everything we needed. Only minor irritation was the shower. Low pressure and ran out of hot water quick. We just timed our showers. Great communication with the host. We managed to walk to all of the major sites. Would use the same apartment again. Thank you

What a way to kick off our honeymoon!

This was the first stay of our honeymoon, and was such an incredible place. Views from all around, spacious, lots of storage, a lot a natural light.Shower is a little small, and hot water quick to run out. but that is my only complaint.Not an issue for us, but if you mobility issues, please note that you have to take stairs up to the penthouse, the elevator only takes you so far.The neighborhood is lovely, we will definitely visit again if we find ourselves back in the area :)
