Perfect small cabin with two beds and a neat loft. Perfect for my quick overnight trip to the Capitol.Host was quick and communicative and all the basics were there. Just a Perfect pleasant experience. Highly recommend.
We Enjoyed our stay in this little cabin. It was conveniently located to the places we had to go to. Many good places to eat near by. We would stay again.
Cabin was cute, clean, and as described. Host was great and responsive. We really liked the property, and felt safe. Denham Springs is a great area too - nice restaurants and with Sam's Club being close by, it worked out nicely for filling up gas. The only downside - the property was listed as approximately 22 minutes to LSU campus but for most drives we made it was over 30 minutes with traffic/construction/accidents. We didn't think it was going to be an issue, but when you have to make multiple trips in one day back and forth to campus, you have to be a little more thoughtful about what you take. Took away a little from time spent with our kiddo.
I will say its not very clean and the downstairs bed is terrible. The bedding was awful. There are really big cockroaches. We didnt see a washer and dryer anywhere and there arent instructions. All that being said I am still giving 5 stars because it was exactly what I expected for Louisiana. It suited our needs perfectly and we had a great little stay. The price was what made it seem like it was worth it. Would stay again if we had to.
So very cute & cozy! Just what we needed for a nice little getaway while visiting family. Perfect for us two. Host was good at responding back to messages quickly & super nice. Will be returning!! Highly recommended!!
Everything as pictured. Nice cozy cottage for 1 night on our way back to Texas. Likely too small for 4 to comfortably stay for much longer. Especially enjoyed eating out at Elsie's. We planned to make a fire on the pit but decided not to after the rain
The cabin was not very clean, dust and roaches! I could not get the insta pot to work! I tried 3 different days because we brought our own food! No mixing bowls! Cabin was very very cold 1st couple of nights! The little heater wasn’t enough to keep us warm! The cabin was very cute and just enough space for my mom and I! Just needs tweaking!
Very clean! Not far from restaurant and the interstate, safe space. Very comfortable, cozy and quaint! Jace was quick to respond to any questions and was a great host. Definitely wouldn’t mind staying there again.
We were looking for a place off the beaten path to stay. We certainly found it in this cabin! It was very quiet at night and served our purposes well. The only negative thing l have to say is it was a lot smaller than l expected. I’m a fairly big guy and had an issue or two with space.

This is a good budget choice for a stay in the Baton Rouge area. A few pointers: bring your own pillows/pillow cases. The bed linens were ancient and the pillow cases so pilly it was like sandpaper. I went to WalMart and bought my own. While the picture looks bright and cheery, it was dark and a bit musty. But perfectly safe, clean enough, and an okay choice for somewhere to sleep. I would not pick it for a romantic getaway!

Overall Okay
Good stay on a budget, but overall some cleanliness issues, washer and dryer are located outside, the door doesn’t close and it’s obvious the elements get in often but everything works, not much in the kitchen but then again, the bare minimum needed to survive. If you’re buting

The toilet had a dirty ring in the bowl, love seat in the living room had trash under it. Im sure this was just over looked because the rest of the cabin was fine.
My father fell in the shower and was rushed to the hospital 2 days before our trip,we had to cancel all our plans,i contacted the owner of the cabin with a promped response, i explained to him our situation and i assumed i wouldn't have my money refunded to me do to it was 2 days before our check in,ill tell you the owner was sympathetic to what happened and he refunded all the money except what the listing cost i say thank you for your compassion and you get my full thank you very much

We chose this tiny cabin based on the good reviews, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The listing states that the cabin sleeps 4 people. There was 3 of us and it felt cramped. The listing also advertises a washer and dryer, but those are not actually accessible from the tiny cabin itself. They are in an open shed structure located behind the cabin. The shed area was really dirty. Cleanliness was an issue. The cabin was clean, but like deer camp clean. There were cobwebs on the ceiling, grime on the windows, dead bugs behind the upstairs sleeping area, and the upstairs "bed" was simply a mattress placed on the floor. The downstairs bed had stains on the sheets, and several towels had old glue-like stains on them as well. The fitted sheet on the main bed was too small so it kept coming off.The upstairs air conditioning unit constantly squeaked throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, all of the upstairs outlets have built-in automatic night lights, very annoying. When we arrived the Wi-Fi was not working. The router is located in the main house which is adjacent to the cabin. We had to track down the owner to gain access to the main house and reboot the system on our own. The concept of the tiny cabin is cute, but the execution fell short of expectations. While it's a good value, it didn't match the quality reflected in the reviews or listing description.
