Excellent location and clean

Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with our stay, but the condo was so inviting that the kids did not even notice. The condo was clean and spacious. The gym at the property was more than I expected, and the inside and outside pools really helped since the water was unaccessable.

Beach Colony is a great place to stay. Loved the ease and access of being on the ground floor. Great communication with the manager. There were fruit flies present on check-in that were a bit of a nuisance throughout our stay. The condo sleeps six but there is only comfortable seating for 4-5. Indoor and outdoor seating could stand to be updated.

most wonderful view

Loved this ground floor unit- everything clean-well stocked kitchen- plenty of towels-bed very comfortable -the view off the patio was the best - enjoyed watching every sunrise and sunset and being able to get to beach so easily. Would have had plenty of room for other family members -two more beds and another bathroom and a huge family dining table- we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and it was all we could have dreamed of.

They make you wear wristbands at pool and beach, very inconvenient to remember everytime you go out to have it on… not really comfortable for some big people and hard for very skinny people to keep it on as it keep falling off and they want to charge $10 for each one lost… after the expense they hit you with I think it is rediculous

Fourth of July Vacation

We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your condo the week of fourth of July for the second year in a row. We love the location on the first floor and the easy access to the pool and the beach. The kids have a great time running from the beach to the pool and back to the condo to recharge. The accommodations are perfect. Arrival and departure are super easy. We had a few repair items during our stay and management was very attentive and resolved the issues as quickly as possible. We are considering coming back next year!

This was a great stay!

We were very pleased with this condo. It’s ground floor so the pool and the beach are steps away. You could almost feel like you are on the beach. We had an issue with the washer not spinning and maintenance guy was there within an hour. Communication and customer svc with these folks is amazing. They responded when I IM’d them in the app almost immediately. We also got caught up I the Delta debacle in ATL and I let them know some of our party would be late and they were super nice about saying sorry that happen etc.

What a perfect vacation place!

Our stay was perfect at Beach Colony West 1B. It started with Luxury Coastal Vacations and how easy they made it to rent. They were great with communications and expectations. The check in process took place at the condo and all access codes were given via email the week before our arrival. The condo was exactly what we needed. A small yard with direct pool access was perfect for our 3 kids. Luxury Coastal Vacations then sent an email welcoming us and providing us with a list of dining options around the area. That was not expected, but a great customer service added touch. We have stayed in Perdido Key and at Beach Colony for 4 years and our experience with Luxury Coastal Vacations and with this particular condo exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Ida blocked a room with a great view

Weather cannot be controlled and that is understood. However, we experienced issues with maintenance coming into our condo while we were not present to close storm shutters and leaving our condo unlocked with all of our valuables inside. And, on our last evening, we came home from dinner to find the thermostat locked (requiring a password we did not have) to operate. So, we slept in the heat and humidity our last night because we could not open windows or shutters due to the storms from Ida. It was a very disappointing trip.

Great Getaway!

This was a great getaway especially since only some of our family has been vaccinated for COVID. We came mai it for the beach, but there are touristy places you can visit too. We loved the room it was plenty big for my family of five and had a great view. We loved the short walk to the beach and not having to use the elevators. The only downside was that it was right next to the community room. On our last night a large group of families was using the community room for dinner.

We enjoyed our time at 1-b beach colony west in perdido key. This unit is perfect, especially for a trip during these weird Covid times. The unit was clean, close to the pool & zero need for elevator. It’s great for families traveling with young kids.

We absolutely LOVED this condo! It was perfect for our family of 4. We have two girls 3 and 10 months so the ground unit was so convenient for us. We have been coming here for 3 years and will for sure be getting this condo again next year!

July Beach vacation road trip

Property was as listed, first floor walk out to pool and beach access with a good view of the beach and water and nice covered terrace to sit on . Had a couple challenges once we got to the unit- lock box on wall was difficult to open , one of the keys would not open or lock the main door, disposal did not work and had fruit flies in the kitchen. Called the Property Management company and they took care of the lock box, gave us a new key that worked, fixed the disposal and sprayed for the fruit flies. Unfortunately, the fruit flies did not die. The spare bedroom had very little storage/ draw space for our daughter and her friend to put their clothes. The sheets for the beds need to be upgraded as they are very rough. The amenities for the property are very nice - short walk to beach, beach chairs and umbrellas, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool and workout room. Quiet at night and Security station is right outside this unit. All in all a nice place to stay.
