My friends and I stayed for a weekend to attend another friend's wedding. The place was clean and exactly what we needed. The only downside was that the bed off of the kitchen only had a curtain between the bed and the kitchen, but that was clearly known form the description of the property in the advertisement. All in all a good place to stay with friends for a weekend.
Check-in was easy, and communication with the host was helpful. The location was great and all areas of Mendocino were walkable from the apartment. Overall, the unit was cute, cozy, and comfortable. There were a few things that caused us minor discomfort. One was that the kitchen was lacking a normal sized pot with a lid and only had a couple of large, lidless frying pans. Also, there was only one good sized coffee or tea mug, and the third was that the unit could have been better heated. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and we'd recommend it highly. We'd be happy to return and stay at this unit again!
We spent the weekend in this unit (#3) and upon arrival we were a bit apprehensive as the outside doesn’t look great but once we got inside it is a clean, cozy little place. And the location is perfect for accessing all of Mendocino and the headlands. The bed is full size, so a bit small, but comfy and we managed to trip a circuit breaker by using the coffee pot and the heaters at the same time . Overall, a cute little place for the weekend.
