About this property
Hygge A-Frame: Pet friendly Forest Immersion! With AC !!
Make yourself at home in this superb 1-bedroom McKenzie Bridge retreat, sleeps up to 5. Nestled in the heart of nature, this bright and cozy A Frame offers a tranquil escape for YOU. With window AC to keep cool, WiFi to stay connected, books and games to entertain one or many, and a well stocked kitchenette/ coffee bar... this charming hideaway has everything you need.
The surrounding area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with hiking trails and breathtaking scenery just waiting to be explored. White water rafting, mountain biking, fishing, golf at Tokatee, soaking in hot springs east and west of us, relaxing at the river, the creek, or one of many reservoirs... Sight see waterfalls, visit hisoric sights, or drive the breathtaking pass.
After a day of adventure, unwind in the comfort of your private retreat or venture outside and across the shared lawn, past the main home where the host resides, to our Outdoor Stay Area: enjoy a campfire or propane ring (when appropriate given fire restriction or safety risk) and relax on the rustic benches under the stars! We provide firewood... and ambient string lighting until 10pm.
So relax in solitude with a 42" TV and complimentary popcorn, join other travelers for revelry at the campfire ring, or enjoy a brief walk for a local cider and live music on weekends at the Obsidian Grill. We hope you enjoy what our place and McKenzie Bridge has to offer.
Note: Host lives on site next door.
The cabin is 430 sq ft. I will take care of dishes, extra towels and daily needs, such as replenishing complementary items or any practical access you may need. I will be around but interaction isn't necessary. I know you are here for the Hygge, privacy, and escape.

About the host
Hosted by Angela Mancini

I have resided in Oregon for over 20 years and have lived in McKenzie Bridge for 8 years. I enjoy nature and working with my hands, building and creating. I enjoy hosting as it allows me to share this sacred natural space with many, creating more joy and blessings in the lives of my guests.
Why they chose this property
I enjoy the wildness of the wilderness in this area. Close enough to our small community to have many conveniences, yet remote enough to have thriving wilderness diversity. Delightful morning bird songs. Comforting evening crickets.
What makes this property unique
We have a private park-like setting available for your engagement. However, the Hygge A Frame is privately positioned, should you prefer pure solace and communing with nature or time with friends and family.
