About this property

Dream River Cabin -- Riverfront

Wake up to the sights and sounds of the majestic McKenzie River—This riverfront cozy cabin is tucked away in a peaceful, private setting surrounded by lush old growth forest and flowing water. Whether you're here to unwind or adventure, this is your perfect base camp. The spacious layout accommodates larger groups while still feeling cozy for couples. Explore hiking trails, biking, rafting, and golf, eateries—all just minutes away. Enjoy fishing right in front of the house.

We hope you fall in love with the 2,244 sq ft cabin, both inside and out. Stroll the 1.5-acre property beneath towering trees, where moss carpets the ground and nature feels untouched. In season, you can even hunt for wild mushrooms together. The sun-drenched deck is perfect for slow mornings or golden hour glasses of wine. Down by the river’s edge, the flat, open space invites you to sit, unwind, and soak in the peaceful rhythm of the McKenzie. We know there’s so much to explore in the area—but sometimes the best kind of getaway is where you don’t have to go anywhere at all to enjoy the outdoors.

The cabin is kid-friendly, even if it’s not obvious at first glance! There’s a Pack ’n Play, an Inglesina high chair, baby toilet, and a baby gate (to block off the stairs) all tucked away in the closet. A bassinet can be provided if requested. You’ll also find some toys in the living room cabinets to help keep little ones entertained. Cleaning supplies are stored up high, out of reach. Outside, there’s a slow-moving spot in the river that’s perfect for kids to splash around in—with adult supervision, of course!

For adult fun, there are some board games in the living room.

Extra blankets and pillow are located in a hallway closet.

Enjoy the propane fire tables for ambience. Please do not have outside fires. There is a fire ban from May-September.

Please safely enjoy the charcoal grill outside. Charcoal and all grill tools are provided.

Two Bote paddle boards and life jackets can be rented and dropped off for your stay to enjoy at the lakes and reservoir. (These are not safe for the river). We rent them for 50$ each for your entire stay.

Have a lot of beer drinking guest? We also rent a 110L Yeti for extra drinks space for your stay. It rents for 50$ for your entire stay.

The location was beautiful. The sound of the river, relaxing in the hammock. We enjoyed the fire at night with family. Katie, the host was quick to respond when the propane tank was empty. Can't wait to book The Dream River Cabin again next spring for our niece's graduation!

ChatGPT said:Absolutely magical. Our recent stay at this riverside cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Tucked away in nature, it offered the perfect escape from the noise and stress of everyday life. The peace and quiet here is unmatched—you fall asleep to the gentle sound of the river and wake up to birdsong and soft morning light. The cabin itself is beautifully kept and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable—soft, cozy, and perfect for a restful night’s sleep. We loved spending our evenings out on the patio, grilling dinner on the BBQ and watching the sun dip behind the trees. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and simply be.Whether you're sipping your morning coffee by the water or stargazing by the fire pit at night, this place is pure serenity. We’re already planning our return.
