The location and access to the river is fantastic. Kitchen could have a few more items for full-meal cooking (we did Thanksgiving and brought our own roasting and casserole pans, which was needed), but it was otherwise delightful!
We enjoyed our stay. The kids really loved exploring the area.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
It was a nice place but due to our family size(4 kids 2 adults) the host made us pay extra (375) for the space above the garage. Unfortunately there is no A/C above the garage so the kids had to sleep on the couch and floor in the main cabin. Location is beautiful. Would recommend for a family of 4 or less so they can all fit in the main cabin with A/C.
The cabin was adequate for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the faux fireplace for warming us up, the recently renovated bathroom, and the well stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, the wifi connection was very spotty for us and we did find a few mouse droppings inside a kitchen drawer. Other than that, the place was extremely clean and well equipped. The proximity to Belknap is awesome for an adventure and time in the hot spring pool. The setting is very magical near the river! We found the living room furniture arrangement to be a bit awkward for conversation or watching a movie, and the beds are very soft, for those who prefer former mattresses. When all is said and done, I think we would likely stay again in the future!
While the details of the property listing are accurate, it’s quite misleading if you’re looking for a property for 7 and don’t look at the fine print to see that the three beds in the garage cost an extra 125/night! It was already pretty expensive and too late to cancel without losing all of our money, so all 7 of us crammed in the little cabin. Seems pretty greedy to charge that much extra for a room!

These are the very first words of our property description...."Book the Cabin alone for the base rate (sleeping 4 to 5 in two bedrooms and a futon) or for a small additional charge per night, add the "garage features" with the extra bedroom that makes it possible to sleep three to four more.
Either way, youll enjoy 100 feet of private..."
So, this is far from fine print.
So sorry you missed that.
Sleeping 3 more oeople in high season plus adding another full bath for only a total of $125 per night is a very very generous deal.
Your lucky i allowed ypu to stay with 7 at all, since you said 4 were coming.
Its very hard to believe this is a legitimate or honest rating or complaint.
The listing is deceptive. Read the full description before booking - this is not a three bedroom house as it appears on Vrbo. The host also attempted to charge additional fees not disclosed in the listing. I did not receive check-in information before the check-in time, and had to contact the host to get it. The condition of the property was also poor. This is the host of multiple properties in the area, and I will be avoiding them in the future.
Cabin was cozy,. We and our dog really liked the protected river access.
