When we arrived for our two week vacation the owners greeted us!!!! The house was very clean and comfortable and situated on a beautiful lake where my husband and son caught many fish!!! We loved the privacy on a beautiful 5.5 acre lot very near the water and experienced seeing a Moose stroll by the lake!!! The owners were very easy to communicate with. All in all we loved it!!!
We had a great time at Medomak place! Ample space to spread out, nice deck to sun on, and well equipped!
You cannot go wrong coming to midcoast Maine, very quaint and old world feeling!
Great place to unwinded with family and friends. Cottage is stocked with everything you could possibly think of hosts were wonderful and accommodating. Close restaurants and fun activities.
the home was as said it was beautiful had everything we needed. The owners came the first day to make sure we were all set and had any questions the weather was rain almost every day, but we did get some time at the lake swimming and so many local places around Beths farm .Elmers barn. the rain did not slow us down from a wonderful time thank you so much for offering you beautiful home to rent
Our vacation was very relaxing at their home. House itself was comfortable and spread out for our family of four, and two large dogs. Dogs loved the yard and the circular layout of the house. Cannot express this enough honestly. Our only feedback would be that the layout of the beaches was a little confusing and maybe a simple map of the property would be helpful. Both beaches are pictured, with a cabin on one, plus the kayaks as well. We weren’t sure if we were supposed to be there. This property was beautiful and relaxing and we enjoyed our vacation very much. Thank you!
Our family of five spent a lovely week at the this immaculate home. The property was beautifully peaceful and the pond was clean and refreshing to swim in. The home had everything we needed for the week and the property came with kayaks and a paddle boat for enjoying the lake. We purchased a three day fishing license and had fun fishing off the dock and from the paddle boat. Tump and Jean are friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed talking with them and learning a bit about the history of the property. Waldoboro is a great central location and we enjoyed Acadia Park and a couple of beautiful sandy beaches. I am a neat freak and an unclean place will ruin my vacation and I was so happy the house was spotless! There was plenty of room for the five of us and two bathrooms was a plus! There bedrooms are upstairs so keep that in mind if you, or someone in your group, have mobility issues. We would definitely return and heck I would buy the house if it went on the market! Seriously!
The house was large and comfortable - better than the pictures portray. We loved the lake facing, covered deck with the closing gate. It was nice to be able to have our dogs outside with us. The owners were fantastic. The guest beach had been rendered fairly unusable by a storm. The owners more than made up for this by offering use of their beach and screened cabin by the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and the lake was just beautiful. We had been looking forward to meals outside at the picnic table and nights by the fire pit, but the damage to the guest beach made that impossible. Overall, a charming lake house, a beautiful location, fantastic owners and a great price. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

More than satisfied
We just spend five nights at this property and everything was exactly as described in the listing -- plus more. The owners are friendly and accommodating, yet give you privacy to enjoy the property as you wish. We were greeted with blueberry muffins, basics in the fridge and a cookie for our dog. The location is perfect for all midcoast activities, and you'll find yourself wanting to spend more time on site in the backyard or on the pond. Our dog had a blast swimming and running around. The house is comfortably furnished and clean, with fresh flowers and natural soaps. The bed was comfortable and the linens soft. You must try the old fashioned ice cream maker with the suggested recipe, it was great! An overall A+ and we've stayed in many VRBO properties. I would recommend to a friend and/or relative in a heartbeat.

Thank you so much Wendy and Scott. We couldn't have asked for better tenants.
We are looking forward to seeing you again! Tump & Jean
This is our second year staying at Medomak house. We loved it! There is much to do in the Mid Coast area of Maine and we took advantage of that...going to Botanical gardens in Boothbay and taking a trip to Mohegan Island. But we loved staying by the lake the best. The fishing was wonderful and we pulled out many big bass, some pickerel and perch...then returned them to the lake to catch again! We swam a lot and canoed on the lake and generally had a fantastic stay. Thanks Tump and Jean!
Loved our stay! Fortunately we had read that there wasn't actually sleeping accommodations for 8, so we had brought a sleeping pad for our 9 year old daughter. Enjoyed playing board games and using the peddleboat the most!
Visited the winery, the brewery, the deli, Borealis bread, Moody's, Beth's Farm market, Hannaford, Dollar General, and Rockland.
Located 20 miles inland from Rockland Maine., we were in Heaven. Beautiful Lake, a well kept property, plenty of fish to catch and something to do in every Direction. I tried to book it again after the first day but it was already booked. We will be back again. The best vacation we have ever had!!
Thank you Tump and Jean.
We have just returned to TN after a wonderful time in Waldoboro Maine. Our time on Medomak Pond was so serene and peaceful. We loved it! Our hosts, Tump and Jean were so helpful and very accommodating! Their home is very well equipped with everything one needs to be comfortable. There is even a lobster cooker in the garage! The beds are very comfortable and having AC was a relief for sleeping on hot nights, although for the most part was not necessary! It was wonderful to sit on the shaded deck and relax and watch the lake, catching a glimpse of eagles, ospreys and hearing the loon....watching a deer walk across the field. The fishing was excellent and we had many hours of fishing and catching and releasing. Large and small mouth bass, white perch, bluegill, and pickeral are all in there and we caught some big ones!
Mid Coast Maine has so much to offer and while staying at Medomak House we were able to take a Puffin boat tour and go wild Maine blueberry picking....take hikes and go to the seacoast.
We are totally satisfied with our stay at Medomak House and have signed up to stay next year. Thanks so much Tump and Jean. See you next year!
We had a wonderful week’s vacation at Jean and Tump’s beautiful Waldoboro, Maine home on Medomak Pond. Our hosts provided everything promised and could not have been more gracious or friendly. We vacation in a new area every year and agreed this property has been our all time favorite. Thank you and God bless!
We stayed a week at this beautiful home and can't say enough good things about it. All the comforts of home, so well equipped and charming. The hosts are super friendly and very very helpful. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing on the pond, relaxing on the deck, and playing family board & card games in the cool evening breezes. Listing says sleeps 8 but only beds for 6 and no pull-out. However it was plenty of space for our family of 5. Super clean, quiet and just perfect for a week in Maine. Highly recommended!
This house was very well thought out and carefully stocked with everything you might need for your stay. Not to mention that it’s immaculate! Comfortable and plentiful seating, comfy beds/bedding. 1 1/2 baths. AC units in all bedrooms and living area. Manicured lawn and walkway to the beautiful lake with kayaks and a great float to sun on. The owners, Tump & Jeanne were lovely, down to earth people who were so gracious, kind animal lovers. The property is in a fabulous location too. It’s 20 minutes to Camden. 15 to Rockland. Lots to see and do. We will be back!
Had a great time enjoying the family and the pond. Centrally located to a number of tourist spots, hiking favorites and ocean view. Hosts very accommodating.
The home was quiet and peaceful on a lake. All the comforts of home!

Everything you could want in a lakeside cottage!
My husband and 1 year old loved our time in this house! Beautifully redone house with everything you could need and more. The property is amazing, huge yard and lakefront beach. The boating was so much fun. I saw two bald eagles while kayaking. We will absolutely be back!!

Great owners. House was clean and comfortable. Loved the area. Lots to do or just relax in yard.
We would come back. Our dog loved the water and yard. Would have liked a lobster pot at the house and one of the recommendations seemed out of business...Upper Crust (for coffee). But, overall a very relaxing week. Nice house. Accommodating owners. Lots to do in the area or just relax in the yard. Two thumbs up!
