Beautiful home located in the heart of the Sugarbush area. Loved hearing the stream running adjacent to the house. Home was fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. Owners were fantastic to work with and very responsive. I would definitely stay there again.
My family was lucky to catch 10" of snow for a powder filled weekend. The house is a great location to ski Mad River and Sugarbush. Clean and comfortable couldn't be happier to find this Gem.
This cabin offered the perfect holiday retreat for our family of three generations. It was very clean and spacious for our group of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living space was perfect for reading and playing board games by the fire. Perfect for skiers since Mt. Ellen is just up the road. It is probably more spacious overall than the photos suggest. The interior beams, floors and woodwork are all beautifully done, as are the bathrooms. The owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with. We couldn't have asked for anything more. This place was great and we would return in a heartbeat.
The house was exactly as pictured - probably better :) We had everything we needed and the location was perfect for us. There was even a trailhead within walking distance from the house that was good enough for us to just get out and enjoy nature. It was a little colder than normal and rained almost every day we were there, but that meant we got to relax a bit more in the comfy chairs and couches and even had a fire one night. The stream running behind the house had lots of water from all the rain and the babbling sound was just slightly audible inside. Very peaceful! The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and the showers were nice and warm with good water pressure. Communication with the owners was great. You can tell that the owners love their house and we are grateful that they allowed us to stay in their home for our (too-short) vacation.
My family leaves near the ocean north of Boston, but we are originally from West Virginia and love the mountains. Part of what we love are the beautiful rivers and tributaries. Steve's place scratched that itch for us. This well-maintained and tastefully furnished and decorated house is sitting almost on top of a rushing brook which can be accessed from the backyard. Even though the house is worth the price, the deck knocks it out of the park. The huge deck is under the trees and allows you to hang out almost directly over the brook. Just open the windows to sleep to the awesome sound of the rushing water if you'd like. We did! The location was great for a summer stay, as trail heads and swimming holes were only a few minutes away. I imagine ski season would be amazing as it is a short distance from the local Sugarbush base lodges. We'd love to return and highly recommend!
Everything was just perfect at this lovely house - from the layout of the interior to the view of the rushing stream in the backyard to the awesome porch. We felt at home right away, and loved every minute of our stay here. We're looking forward to coming back again in the future!
Our family loved this beautiful home which is in a picturesque setting with a large deck overlooking a brook. The house is very well designed. It felt spacious, airy, and was quite comfortably furnished. If you're looking for a place for relaxation and restoration, you've found it. We hope to enjoy its charms again soon.
Another fabulous weekend at our favorite house near Sugarbush. We can't wait to come back each year. Thank you!

Great Ski Weekend
The house and location were perfect for a great time skiing MLK Weekend at Sugarbush with 20" of powder. It was a great spot for the family to come back and relax at the end of the day, the fireplace was great to keep us all warm on a cold weekend. The house is clean and well put together for a family to visit.
