About the area
Soldotna
Soldotna is home to this holiday home. Kenai River and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Soldotna Creek Park and Jumping Junction.
What a gorgeous property inside and out. Amazing fishing from the dock, so relaxing inside. Comfortable and firm mattresses and very clean. Lots of space and usable garage. Our guests were also comfortable in the guest house. The outdoor gas fire pit is so wonderful- great to watch the river roll by and see the large eagle nest not far away. Best trip in a long time and want to go back again this fall and in summer.
My family of seven (aged 4-70) stayed in this beautiful Eagles Landing home in July and we loved every second of our stay! The home was clean, warm, thoughtfully decorated, excellent location, and truly had everything our family hoped for and needed. The new deck and gas firepit were standouts! Fishing from the dock was awesome. As well as the bald eagle nest visible from the porch. The property manager was warm, very helpful, responded quickly. We even had an opportunity to meet the owner who was kind, and quick to fix what we needed. Highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back!

About the host
Hosted by Kimberly Macdonald
We have been hosting our homes on the Kenai River for the past several years. We have lived in Alaska for over 50 years, with the majority of our time spent on the Kenai Peninsula. We love what this area has to offer for fishing and giving visitors the opportunity to fish the Kenai and spend time with their family and friends.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood provides the privacy guests love, but with the easy access to town and shopping. It's the perfect spot to fish and enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle of being in the city.
What makes this property unique
This home is tucked away, and not noticeable from the road. The garage apartment provides separate quarters for guests to use, so you can enjoy having your own space.
