Slack Tide has a large property both indoor and out, to accommodate you and your family. Fully stocked kitchen, several fireplaces, and lavish furnishings add to the comfort of this property.

Although you may feel at home on the property, the town of Winter Harbor also located on Schoodic Peninsula has lots of local attractions to offer. Small shops and local dining are located within the small town of Winter Harbor, along with hiking, biking and walking trails. Take the short ferry ride to MDI for the day and visit the iconic town of Bar Harbor. Leave the bustle behind and return to your private and quiet shore at Slack Tide.

Family friendly home in a quiet coastal town!

My husband and I had the best stay at Slack Tide. We were able to really unwind and relax while away. Although we didn't bring our kids, the entire property is set up wonderfully for a large family group. We had a wonderful time making breakfast and sipping coffee while having direct coastal views. Although it was late Fall, the property was still beautiful and we could tell it is absolutely stunning during the Spring/Summer. We did brave the beach a little which was easy from the walking path that goes directly from the back of the housw to the rocky beach. Such a wonderful spot for a quick getaway for us! And the little town of Winter Harbor is such a beautiful location to visit!
