This immaculate two-bedroom/one-bath vacation rental is situated on the shores of beautiful Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. It features comfortable accommodations and stunning wide-water and mountain views! Perfect for a family getaway, Cedar Key Cabin includes one queen-size bed, two twins TV, VCR, DirectTV, internet access, central heating and air-conditioning, open beams, and hardwood floors. The home sleeps 4 persons comfortably.

Outdoors there's a deck with a charcoal grill and patio furniture. NEW this year is a separate private floating dock which is great for swimming and boating. There is additional room on a shared dock. Cedar Key Cabin is near the mountains and the Smith Mountain Lake dam and also located in a "NO WAKE" cove which is ideal for swimming. Welcome: Cedar Key Cabins are two immaculate vacation rentals located on the shores of beautiful Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. In addition to comfortable accommodations, you'll also enjoy stunning wide-water and mountain views!
Smith Mountain Lake is a boater's and fisherman's paradise. There are 500 miles of shoreline on this 40 mile long, 20,000 acre lake. If you have your own boat, you can launch it at nearby Mitchell's Point Marina and dock it at the Cabin's dock. Boat rentals and wave runners are available at several lake locations. From our location it is about 1000 feet to the main channel of the lake. For the fisherman, we are located on Witcher Creek where the stripers spawn. The lake is stocked with bass, muskies, northern pike, and other small game fish.

Dog friendly! Dogs are allowed on the property and have a wonderful time at the lake. However, please do not leave them alone. Even though your dog may be comfortable alone at home, dogs are often frightened when left in a strange place and can cause substantial damage. Cats are not allowed.

GUESTS SHOULD BRING LINENS (ONE QUEEN AND TWO TWIN BEDS) BATH TOWELS, WASH CLOTHS, DISH TOWELS, ETC. Linens may be provided for an additional $80.00 Fee

Perfectly peaceful weekend at the lake

We’ve been coming to stay at this property every year for 7 years. That fact should tell you all you need to know: it’s wonderful. Peaceful, secluded, quiet, well kept, and now with some improvements and a rearranged living room that seriously elevated the experience. We will continue to come back, and you should too.

Great cabin, and well cared for. Not a large place but perfect for a family of four with two dogs. All appointments we needed were there, and the weather was accommodating to boot!

Wonderful cabin on the lake

My family had a great time and the cabin was perfect. We rented a boat for a few days and it was great being able to dock it right at the shared pier. 10/10 would stay again. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
