There is a lot to like about this house. The South Woodstock location is 10 minutes or so from the main commercial area of Woodstock -- close enough to be convenient but far enough that we were away from the crush of traffic and crowds during peak leaf season.The house is spacious and features comfortable furniture. The large TV offers a fair number of streaming services.The people who manage the property were among the most responsive we've experienced. The microwave oven had a problem and when we brought it to their attention they came the next day with a replacement.One thing might be important for parties having small children or people with any mobility issues. Two of the bedrooms and one bathroom are upstairs. The angle of the stairs is very steep and the ceilings in the upper level are quite low. This was not the house for three senior couples!That said, the place is charming and immaculate. The only instructions for leaving were to lock up after ourselves; they said "We'll take care of everything else." That's much appreciated for those of us with early planes to catch.

I appreciate the note about the steep stairs and low upper‑level ceilings; that can be difficult for small children or guests with mobility limitations, and we’ll review the listing to make that clearer.
