Lovely small house within walking distance of the town square

This is a lovely little house perfect for two couples. There's a small but very pretty courtyard where we spent each evening before going out to dinner. The bigger bedroom is the whole second floor and very separate from the ground floor bedroom, which is nice. The house is up a pretty steep hill with a narrow gravel road, which we didn't realize until we got there. We found it more difficult that it was worth to try to park in the garage. But everything else about the house, the decoration, the kitchen, the comfortableness of the furniture, the wifi, the 10 minute walk to the center of town, was all perfect.

Wonderful house with a short walk to art, restaurants and the Plaza. Don't miss the City of Santa Fe trail from Cross of the Martyrs to Gonzalez Road loop. Tricky to find but beautiful. 3 mile loop. We were made to feel welcome long in advance of our visit by emails, mailings, and instructions for our stay.

I would leave a note to people who might not be aware that when the fountain starts to make a humming or buzzing noise you need to add water to the basin otherwise the motor might burn out. It's really important that the fountain be up and running and that the umbrella on the patio be out as it can get hot out there.

The house is well located and nicely appointed. We were disappointed the property does not have the bikes in the VRBO advertisement. I would recommend this property for small families or couples. You can walk everywhere and the property manager was easy to communicate with.
