Loved our stay at this beautiful property. Kitchen was well stocked, pet friendly. Comfortable beds. Great place to hang out after a day of skiing. Gorgeous views! Host responded quickly to messages. Would stay here again.
Had a nice ski weekend with family. Place is literally off the grid - powered by solar and sort of in the middle of no where, but about 25 minutes to both Beaver Creek and Vail. Plenty of space and kitchen was well apportioned. Huge island in kitchen was great for family meals. Great communication with owner.
Eileen was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The house was perfect for our crew. The solar had me a bit worried, but we had no issues whatsoever. Mark, the caretaker for the facility, was extremely kind and helpful. We truly enjoyed our trip at the lodge at Snowcross Inn.
A very nice property with a great view. It was nice to get away and not have to deal with traffic or neighbors. This had more space than we needed and would be great for a large group or just a few. Great communication and the caretaker/host was great. I highly recommend this place. The Solar part of this had me worried initially. However, we had no issues what so ever with power so you can rest easy on that front. Overall it was a great experience and has my full recommendation!
What a neat place. We had great communication throughout our stay! Eileen was not familiar with a service animal in comparison to a pet but VRBO handled it perfectly. The only thing that was not advised prior was that the homes caretaker lives in a part of the house that is attached. There is an entrance for him outside but there is also one that leads into the house. There needs to be a hook lock or something from the vacationers side for peace of mind. My husband felt a little uncomfortable letting our daughter be in the downstairs bedrooms for safety. Other than that, it is a wonderful home & great hosts!
The Jacobs Family has lived in Colorado for over 45 years, moving from the Vail Valley to the Leadville area in 2017. RG and Eileen have two children, Galen and Meghan, and two grandsons. The family enjoys skiing together at Ski Cooper, Vail and Beaver Creek and boating in summer at Turquoise Lake in Leadville.

The breathtaking scenery captured our hearts upon our first visit to Snow Cross. Even seasoned mountain people like us cannot help but be taken by the natural beauty that surrounds the property and the proximity to laid-back skiing at Ski Cooper and boating on Turquoise and Twin Lakes.
