About this property

Summer 2026… only 3 weeks left. PET FRIENDLY

This beautiful one level home on Melody Gardens Drive is just 2 blocks from the beach (5 min). Our home offers a very open floor plan. The living room is very inviting and comfortable to kick back in after a day at the beach. The couch, love seat and chair provide plenty of seating while you watch TV on the Samsung 55" Smart TV, with sound bar and sub. Bring some movies from home and use our DVD/BLU-RAY player. The kitchen is generously stocked with many items you would find in your own home. Enjoy a game of Ping Pong on the regulation size table in the garage and plenty of games for family time.

The Master bedroom has a Beauty Rest king size pillow top mattress. It also has a Samsung 40" Smart flat screen TV with a Roku stick for streaming. The spacious Master bath has a large garden tub shower, and his and her sinks.

The second and third bedrooms both have Beauty Rest queen size mattresses and Smart flat screen TV's.

Our home also offers a double pull out sofa for extra sleeping.

The laundry room is located across from the kitchen, complete with Iron and ironing board.

Enjoy cooking on our new gas grill and enjoy the ocean air on our enclosed screen porch.
(A favorite for many of our guests)
Or enjoy some time on our new concrete patio located just outside the living room.

Our home is located in Oceanside Village, which is a private gated community. It has many amenities to offer. Private beach parking and access, an indoor pool, two outdoor pools, sprinklers and water fountains for kids, playground, basketball court, baseball field, tennis court, bocce court, gym (small fee required to Oceanside Village), and many stocked fishing ponds on the property.
Oceanside Village is just 7 miles from Myrtle Beach International Airport.

We provide bath and kitchen towels, pillows, blankets and duvets.

Beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys are available for use.

Fur babies are allowed on a case by case basis.

Golf Carts are available to rent from Oceanside Village for an additional fee.
We also cautiously rent our personal 6 passenger golf cart, please inquire for details and price if interested.

To help keep costs down for our guests we have excluded several fee's which you will find with many other rentals.

Many times called HOST FEE'S......
#1 CLEANING FEE, we ask that you leave it as you found it. Clean and organized.
#2 LINEN FEE, who doesn't love to sleep on their own sheets.
#3 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE, It is our pleasure to answer any questions you might have now or during your stay with us.

We do have a 100% REFUNDABLE deposit which will be refunded 7-10 days after departure providing our home is left clean and damage free.

We DO NOT provide beach towels or bed sheets.

Beautiful Home

This home is close to beach, clean, and the host, Donna, is wonderful! We've stayed here 3 times and enjoy our stay more everytime. We'll always stay here over somewhere else! The cafe at the beach has great food and there's always something to do in and around the village! Thank you Donna for sharing your home again!

My fiancé, friends and I had an incredible time in this home. Beginning with the first contact to the property owner until the end this has been an absolutely phenomenal. Wonderful place to stay!

We stayed here last year and loved it so we were anxious to stay here again this year. The host, Donna, is wonderful to work with! The house is in a convenient and beautiful location and if you rent the golf cart too, you've got it made. The pools are great for kids and the Conche Cafe has great food! Donna does a great job to ensure you have the communication needed for checkin or any questions you might have. We are definitely looking forward to staying again next year!

Very Relaxing, great getaway, beautiful home.

The home was great for my family and the in laws. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools in the community. Kids enjoyed the playground. The home was everything we expected, comfy cozy, and beds were very comfortable. The screened in porch was great to relax in. The BBQ was great also. Very convenient to have beach chairs and umbrellas already there. No complaints and would definitely stay again.

Great house and amenities

This house is spacious and well equipped. I hosted Thanksgiving for eight people and found everything I needed. It has a great screened in porch and a small side yard for my dog. I stayed for a longer term than most at 35 days. My only criticism would be the poor quality furniture. Everything was very soft including the mattresses. My sciatica was very unhappy by the time I checked out😩 The owner was very responsive when I had a Wi-Fi problem making sure it was resolved in a timely manner.

Lovely home just down the street from beautiful beach

I can not rave about this place enough. Beautiful and spacious home in a wonderful gated community. My sister(we call her the princess) who is a very picky was very impressed by the house. Her and her husband are used to staying in pricey hotels and they were very happy and comfortable. Surfside beach is just down the street and the restaurants on Murrells Inlet were wonderful. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, including a grill outside of wonderful screened in patio. The beds are comfy which is very important after spending a day at the beach. Property owner was always in communication with us in case we needed anything. The teenage boys enjoyed the basket ball court, indoor and outdoor pool within the gated community. They even made some friends while there. Everyone is nice and friendly. All in all a very pleasant stay and Can’t say enough about Donna, she’s amazing and accommodating! Would love to stay again. My kid is already talking about going there next year to meet up with friends he met.

Paradise Found

This house is exactly as the listing describes…Paradise Found. We checked in at the guard shack with no issues. The property was clean and tidy upon arrival. The house is adequately supplied with kitchen and light cleaning supplies although I did bring some of my own. The bedrooms were all very spacious and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels in the hall closet. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Spend the extra money and rent their golf cart. It makes the beach much easier and OSV ran out of rental carts for the week. The check out process was just as simple. Clean up after yourself and place the key in the lock box. Communication with Donna was always very easy and she had a response within a good time frame. We vacation in OSV every year and enjoy choosing a different house each time. We would definitely stay here again. Being pet friendly was a bonus. Our 12 year old K9 can’t do steps as well anymore. He was able to relax in his crate and on the carpeted floors. He gives it 2 paws up.

Why they chose this property

My husbands parents rented a house in OceanSide Village/Bermuda Bay nine years ago for our family vacation. At which time they fell in love with OceanSide Village/Surfside Beach and decided to sell their home in CT and retire to SC. And that is exactly what they did the following year. So since then we have been vacationing at OceanSide Village a couple times a year. In 2017 we decided to purchase a place of our own down the street from my husband parents on Melody Gardens. We couldn't be happier about our decision and are excited to share our home with you. So you too can create beautiful family memories like we have.

What makes this property unique

Our home is one floor living with amazingly comfortable
beds. There is NOTHING worse than going away and having a horrible nights sleep.
It was our mission to make sure that didn't happen.
