The house is in a stunning location, and the porch and pergola allow you to make the most of the ocean views. Being able to walk down the steps onto such a quiet beach is also amazing for little kids! The Kitchen and pantry provided ample space and supplies for family cooking. Stephanie was extremely responsive.Unfortunately, the house itself was somewhat disappointing. There were several issues that were unclear from the listing: lack of privacy in all three bedrooms and two bathrooms, inadequate air conditioning, a lack of blinds, and an inordinate amount of owner clutter. All of these are issues unto themselves, but also made this property unsuitable for young children. Two of the bedrooms are essentially in one suite - a large king with a wall of windows looking to the ocean, and a loft with two queens, with a spiral staircase connecting them. The staircase makes the bedroom inaccessible for many people, and there is no door on that room. The third bedroom is basically in the kitchen (its walls actually have windows into the kitchen). The stunning floor to ceiling windows are amazing until you realize there are no blinds throughout the house. This makes it hard to sleep and extremely hot, particularly in the lofted bedroom. The small AC units do not suffice. We found that bedroom mostly unusable. For our kids (all under 3), it was rough: the light woke them at 5 am, they were hot, there was so much clutter around they hardly had room to crawl or walk.
