Welcome to Valley View- a luxurious 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom log home centrally located between Seven Springs Mountain Resort and Hidden Valley Resort. With an abundance of outdoor activities like golfing, skiing & snowboarding, swimming, hiking, and biking (just to name a few); plus festivals, state parks, sightseeing, spas, & restaurants and bars, there is entertainment for everyone in the Laurel Highlands. Exterior security cameras are in use. 4WD vehicles recommended in winter.

The Property:
As you walk through the front door of this immaculate log home, you'll be greeted by the grandeur of it's beauty. Pass through the entryway into the open concept floor plan, where guests can gather and spend time together while in the kitchen, dining area, or living area.

The large kitchen features beautiful granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, and a sitting area that overlooks the valley. The dining area features a huge table that allows seating for 14 people. The living area offers two couches and a reclining chair where guests can enjoy the warmth of the floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace or the entertainment of the large screen TV.

Two bedrooms are located on the main level of this house. Bedroom 1 is located just off the kitchen. It features a queen size bed, a tv, plenty of clothing storage space, and a private attached bathroom. Bedroom 2 is located just off the living area and features two twin size beds. A nearby full bathroom is available for use.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 3 is at the top of the steps. It has two sets of bunk beds (4 twin size beds) and a loft where kids can lounge on the bean bags. A nearby full bathroom is also available. Bedroom 4 is at the end of the hallway on the left. It has a king size bed and a private attached full bathroom. Bedroom 5 also has a king size bed and a private attached full bathroom.

On the lower level of the house, guests will find a game area with a pool table, a foosball table, and a log table for games. There is also a living room with large screen TV, wrap around couch with built-in reclining chairs, and a nearby full bathroom. The laundry room is located on this level. Bedroom 6 is also located on the lower level of the house. It features one queen size bed, one full size bed, and a twin size bed.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house. Guests do not have access to the detached garage and they are not permitted to use the outdoor fire pit.

Guests do not have access to resort swimming pools. The resort shuttle bus does not provide service to this house.

Interaction With Guests:
Al Meucci Real Estate is on-call 24/7. In the event that a guest experiences maintenance problems during their stay, they can contact Michele or Maddie at anytime using the phone numbers provided at check-in.

Beautiful Home

The house is located on a very-country road with broad sweeping views of the surrounding hills and valleys. It was clean, described accurately, and spacious. I got to see the stars! The Christmas decorations in July were a bit out of place, but ignorable. We all enjoyed our stay very much and would consider renting again.

Ski vacation after Christmas

The house was amazing, sheets and towels provided. It was very close to Seven Springs resort. The hot tub was also great, and the kids loved the rec room. There was quite a bit of snow and ice, and the house is on a gravel road, so you will need all wheel drive to get there if there’s been any ice or snow prior to your stay.

Amazing week as always.

This is our 4th year staying on Firetower Road and we were very pleased as usual. The house is clean, spacious, great views. Something for everyone in the family to do. Pool, fusball table, hot tub, close the Seven Springs lodge. Less than a mile and the Market as well. Nice hiking trails nearby as well. We stay a week every January and are never disappointed.

Beautiful scenic home

This is a great property very close to the ski resort. It was perfect for our trip with three families. Everything was very clean and exactly as described. Do not hesitate to rent this home. We only wish we were able to use the fire pit but there are strict rules that it is not to be lit or there is a $500 fine.

Fabulous property

This was one of the best properties we have stayed at in the Somerset/Champion area. Everything we needed for a fun family time was included. The kitchen was perfect for our creative chefs, the pool table provided new memories for our grandkids, the outside deck provided unbelievable sun rises. We all loved this property. The hiking trails gave us many opportunities to enjoy the natural preserve that was only minutes from the cabin’s door. So clean, clean, clean! We will be back.

This house was perfect for our group, 6 adults and 7 kids. Plenty of bedroom and bathroom space. Everything was clean. The road to the house is a bit rough, it is a dirt road, but don't let that dissuade you. This is very close to 7 Springs and there are hiking trails within walking distance. The house had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked. We had a great long weekend!

Beautiful views!

This is a beautiful home, very clean and well kept. Great table for playing games, hot tub was so nice to relax in although the jets weren’t very strong but the tub itself was well kept and clean. The house is close to Seven Springs which is a plus! It is worth noting they were not at all flexible with the check in time even though the house was not rented before our group came. This is the first time we experienced the lack of flexibility. Also as mentioned in other reviews we were not permitted to use the outdoor firepit. Very disappointing and would be a deal breaker for sure if I had rented the house for just my family. Since we were a group of 12 women it wasn’t a big deal but would have been nice to have had the option.

Amazing Hideaway with a View

Wow! This is the best ski lodge our group has ever rented. We had 4 families all with kids and there was enough space for each couple to have a private bed and bath plus 2 great kids rooms. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook every night. The basement area gave the kids a place to play and hang out while adults enjoyed the main high ceiling living area by the fire. The younger kids also enjoyed playing outside the home in the snow, there is a big open hill and they had a blast rolling around and building snowmen! The hot tub on the deck was magical! sunrises with a cup of coffee were amazing. We also appreciated the cute decorations and touches through the home that made it feel like a special retreat. Great proximity to seven springs, we skied everyday. One thing worth noting: The listing clearly states that the home is on a secondary road, but there was weather coming in at our arrival and second day and we were not quite prepared for how long (1.5 miles) and steep that unpaved road was. The owner had plowed and treated the driveway for our arrival which was very helpful! As the listing states, 4 wheel drive is mandatory. The drive was worth it for us for the view and spectacular property, but the road is not suited for inexperienced snow drivers in winter. Our group were all fine in our trucks but other non 4 wheel drive vehicles trying to pass the road got stuck throughout our stay, causing a few issues.

Perfect Gathering Place

We had a great weekend stay at this beautiful large log cabin. There were plenty of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms to accommodate multiple single adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was warm and clean. The view of the valley was spectacular and conveniently placed furnishings made it easy to enjoy from several areas. Everything was new, updated and immaculately maintained.

Overall we had a great trip. The house had great amenities that provided entertainment and accommodations for our whole group. Not sure what was mentioned in the listing but you don't get access to the garage and are not allowed to use the fire pit so keep that in mind when staying at this location. It is really convenient to 7 Springs, just a really short drive.

Terrific home and location

We really enjoyed our stay at this house this weekend. We were 7 moms and our children and we had plenty of room. The house had every amenity you could think of and was beautiful. The kids loved the hot tub. They also had lots of cleaning supplies on hand as well as kitchen spices. The house is so close to the ski resort and is very easy to get there. The only thing to note is that your front wheel drive cars won't make it to the house, so be prepared with an all wheel drive.
