Rental license #53127. If you are seeking an interim home while in Fort Collins for an extended stay for work or play, this ideally located and fully updated home is the place for you! Many of our rentals are for 30 days or longer and therefore not subject to sales tax. PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE MAKING A RESERVATION REQUEST FOR A STAY OF 30+ DAYS SO WE CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH CORRECT PRICING. Once a reservation request is made, we have no way of adjusting your quote, and VRBO will collect unnecessary sales tax.

Built in 1946, this home offers a perfect central location for walking, biking, or easily getting just about anywhere in Fort Collins. Four blocks from the CSU Performing Arts Center, theatre performances and concerts are only a short walk away. The Spring Creek/Poudre bike trails are just a few blocks to the south. Fort Collins's vibrant old town/downtown is a walk or easy bike ride away. Also close are the flower gardens, Whole Foods, Poudre Valley Hospital, the CSU veterinary teaching hospital, and the Fort Collins Club Fitness Center. And, the best part is that in spite of being in the center of so much activity, this home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on a quiet street.

Inside, the house has been completely updated. The kitchen features a professional style Dacor gas stove and oven that, for those who like to cook, is a dream to cook on. The master bedroom is spacious and comfortable featuring plenty of storage, the home’s original hardwood floors, and a king-size bed. The second bedroom is small but works well for one person or two small ones who can share the full size bed.

Cable tv, plenty of dvds to choose from, and internet access are provided. The laundry room offers a full size washer and gas dryer.

Large Pella doors open to the backyard deck where you’ll find a propane gas grill and space for outdoor dining or relaxation. The yard is fenced for safety. Finally, there is even a one car attached garage.

This home is strictly non-smoking. While our general policy is no pets preferred, some dogs may be allowed if approved at the time of reservation. An additional pet fee, proof of vaccinations from your veterinarian, and signed pet agreement will be required. Sorry, no cats (due to owner’s allergies) or other pets. The house comfortably accommodates up to three adults or two adults with two children, but it is not appropriate for larger groups or gatherings. Please note, while children are generally welcome, for safety reasons the house is not appropriate for new walkers and toddlers.

We enjoyed a 6 week stay in Fort Collins at this home. The property was well maintained and set up very comfortably. The location was ideal with convenient access to Old Town and easy access to bike trails. The owners of the property were always responsive (we had no issues at all but sometimes had questions). Small details were much appreciated, such as lots of hooks in the bathroom, plenty of white linens, a bookshelf stocked with great reading options, etc. We walked the neighborhood daily and felt very safe. We would recommend this property, and hope to stay again on a future trip.

Great Christmas in Fort Collins

We have been renting a home for the Christmas holidays in Fort Collins for the past five years and this rental was, by far, the best choice of all! The house was cozy, clean, well appointed and in a great location. Everything worked well, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook those holiday meals. We were able to walk to stores, downtown and even a small nature area. We are looking forward to our return visit in May!

Absolutely perfect

We spent a month in Rosemary and Jim’s beautiful and cosy house. The house is obviously loved and cared for by the owners, beautifully furnished and very charming. It comes equipped with everything you might need, and is located in a quiet, very walkable neighborhood. The location could not be better; close to downtown FC and CSU, with Wholefoods and Trader Joe’s just a mile or two down the road. My puppies loved the fenced-in backyard, and we enjoyed the deck and outdoor grill. Rosemary and Jim are the perfect hosts, communicative and always available to help. I highly recommend their lovely home, perfect in every way!

Loved our month in this home!

We stayed here for a month this summer and were so comfortable! Our dog enjoyed the fenced yard and we enjoyed having her in a safely contained yard. The kitchen is the most well stocked of any VRBO in which we have stayed. Comfortable furniture, nice T.V., and it was great having the attached garage for our bikes. The bike trails are 3 blocks away and Old Town is about 1.2 miles from the home. Many days we never used our car. Rosemary was so helpful and quick to respond- couldn't ask for a better host owner. We plan to come back next year for another month. We absolutely loved it here!

Best of the Best

We’ve stayed in a number of vrbo rentals but never one that exceeds expectations like this small but mighty home! Efficiency, top notch organization and visual delight mark this beauty. First, the home lacks for nothing. Well, we did need a magnifying glass and had to go buy one! Seriously, if you can dream it, it will be somewhere in this well thought out home. Second, the home is beautiful and comfy besides being efficient and organized. Hard wood floors, elegant décor, updated kitchen are only three of the items on the list. Where else will you ever encounter a tantalizing art gallery, annotated, throughout the home? Third, the hosts are exceedingly attentive and helpful. Noteworthy cue cards are at essential spots throughout the home. These are special because they copy icons from the item under discussion onto the cue card. I’ve never seen anything like this but highly recommend replication. Finally, the location is tops. Thank you, Rosemary and Jim!

Great house, ideal location

This house was probably the best I've stayed in as far as vacation rentals go. I was there with my 2 boys,( 6 and 8) and our goldendoodle Leo. The pride of ownership is evident. The owners are great at communication and are quick to answer any questions you may have. Very clean and well organized house with details on how to work every appliance in the house. The neighborhood is very safe and super cute. I often sat on the yellow chairs in the front of the house and watched my boys play. The location can't be beat. You are central to everything. My boys and I rode our bikes downtown often. There is a dog park a few blocks away or another park (Spring Canyon) that is about a 10 minute drive which has plenty of bike trails and a more extensive dog park. We really enjoyed our time in Ft. Collins hiking and biking. Estes Park is about 1.5 hours away which we visitied for a few days. Highly recommend! All in all, I would recommend staying here and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. Another plus, the house has AC, which was fantastic considering most homes in the area did not have air conditioning. Also, there is a washer and dryer which is another plus. Great house, great stay!

Comfy and cozy white Christmas

My husband and I drove to Fort Collins from Dallas and it began to snow outside of Denver. We were tired after a long drive when we arrived in the evening. Rosemary’s and Jim’s lovely home was just perfect - toasty warm, comfortable bed, and everything we could possibly hope for! Everything was spotless and the kitchen was beyond well-appointed. On top of all that, they have carefully curated a wonderful art collection over the years. Rosemary was extremely helpful and responsive in our communications. We can’t wait to visit again someday - maybe in the spring or summer!

A Quaint Gem

Felt right at home!

My husband, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay at Rosemary and Jim’s cute little house. So many nice touches, like night lights, lots of tissue boxes around the house, tons of hangers!, extra pillows, blankets, towels, dish cloths and wash clothes, dog towels for the dog!, interesting art work and choice of books & movies….I could go on and on!! Rosemary was very helpful in welcoming us, and making sure we had everything we needed. Very detailed information about the house. We sat on the patio a lot, as the dog loved it there! We walked the neighborhoods, down to College, over to Prospect and north to Riverview - wonderful, friendly people and interesting properties! Thank you, Rosemary and Jim, for opening your home to us!!!
