Located in the heart of the outdoor adventures the North Georgia Mountains offer Currahee Mountain Retreat is an absolutely stunning property that promises an unforgettable vacation destination. This modern farmhouse features five beautifully designed bedrooms, including a unique converted garage with its own mini-split system for perfect climate control, and two and a half well appointed bathrooms. The open-plan living area is a haven of comfort and style, boasting an inviting gas fireplace that adds a cozy touch to cool evenings. The pool table in the game room, games and board games provided, will keep you busy even on rainy days!

Step outside to be greeted by views of the historical Currahee Mountain. Used during World War 2 to train paratroops and filmed in HBO's ban of brothers. Currahee is the last mountain in the Blue Ridge chain and the name Currahee, given by the Cherokee Indians, is translated "stand alone."

The outdoor amenities are nothing short of spectacular: a bubbling hot tub offers a serene spot for soaking under the stars. Gather around the wood fire pit or gas outdoor fireplace area for evening conversations and marshmallow roasting sessions on the wood firepit, all while soaking in the serene ambiance of the beautiful sunsets!

We've stayed at many short term rentals and wanted to design a space that would assist in creating memories similar to the ones we now have with our family and friends. We wanted the space to be the destination but still surrounded by adventures from white watering rafting, hiking, rock climbing, repelling, ATV'ing, biking, mountain biking, fishing, ziplining, great restaurants, vineyards, weddings, festivals and so much more! So many incredible entertaining actives right here at Currahee Mountain Retreat and the nearby areas.
