About this property
NEW Little White Barn w/ Hot Tub and Lake Michigan Sunsets
Tucked into the woods on 5 private acres in one of the most sought-after locations in the area, this magazine-featured, restored 1914 3-bedroom barn sits directly across the street from Lake Michigan on a quiet dead-end road. Surrounded by nature and just steps from expansive lake views, this is a place to slow down, reconnect, and experience West Michigan at its most beautiful.
Fall asleep to the sound of waves, wake to soft light filtering through original wood beams, and end each day with glowing sunsets over the lake. While the property does not have private beach access, several beautiful public Lake Michigan beaches are just minutes away. The closest access point is just a few minutes from the barn, making it easy to enjoy the sand and water while returning to complete privacy and quiet at home.
You arrive by crossing a small bridge over a gently flowing stream, passing a glowing gaslight and white farm fence that immediately set the tone for what awaits. The front lawn is wide and open, perfect for yard games, kids playing, or simply spreading out and enjoying the lake air. Out back, winding wooded trails lead to a fire pit and a freshwater hot tub, tucked into nature and ideal for relaxing evenings under the stars.
Inside, the barn has been thoughtfully restored to honor its history while offering modern comfort. Original wood beams, curated antiques, and warm textures create a space that feels both refined and deeply authentic. The luxury kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and gathering, while the cozy living area features a fireplace, Sonos sound system, Apple TV, and a record player for slow mornings or relaxed evenings.
The three bedrooms are intentionally small and cozy, designed for restful sleep after full days outdoors. Each space reflects the same thoughtful balance of rustic character and comfort found throughout the barn.
This special property has been featured in national publications including Country Living and highlighted in multiple design books, celebrated for its timeless design and connection to the surrounding landscape.
Located on a quiet dead-end road, the setting is ideal for peaceful morning and evening walks along the street while taking in views of Lake Michigan. The barn is also perfectly positioned near some of West Michigan’s most beloved towns, including Fennville, Saugatuck, Douglas, South Haven, and Holland, offering easy access to dining, shopping, wineries, and seasonal events.
Rustic at heart, refined in experience, and deeply connected to the land and lake around it, this is a truly unique stay for guests seeking something meaningful, memorable, and better than home.
