Welcome to Wintercreek Mountain Delight, a beautiful family-style home located in the upscale Winter Creek neighborhood south of downtown Truckee. Nestled among towering pine trees, this three-bedroom, two and a half bathroom house features high-end finishes, comfortable furnishings, and an open-plan layout that provides plenty of space for family and friends. With convenient access to some of the area's most popular outdoor activities and nearby amenities like Northstar and Lake Tahoe, Wintercreek Mountain Delight is the perfect base for exploring everything that the Tahoe region has to offer.

INSIDE THE HOME
As you step inside the house, you are greeted by bright and airy main living spaces, complete with high ceilings with recessed lighting and soft carpeting throughout that adds an extra layer of comfort. The open plan layout with living room, kitchen and dining area provides a good flow and modern feel, perfect for spending time with family and friends. The large, bright primary suite located on the main floor features a comfortable queen bed, plenty of storage space, small seating area and large ensuite. Moving upstairs, you will find two comfortable guest bedrooms and a bright office.

Beautiful house, great location

Stayed up here for a long weekend. The house is in a great location to get around Truckee on foot or bike. The beds were comfortable and the house had plenty of space for us. Would recommend!

Wintercreek Vacation Home is well-located in a quiet area - minutes from 2 ski resorts and Town!

Property was clean, spacious and well-appointed. It was in a nice area for walks... and indeed one could walk to downtown Truckee. Property manager was kind and responsive. A nice stay!

Place was great but did not realize there is not air conditioning and we were there in a heat wave. The house is equipped with fans which was helpful.Please add this information to listing stats if it is not there already. otherwise the house was well stocked and good location.

The house was very enjoyable to stay at. Well stocked kitchen for dishes and cookware. Beds were comfy and great location. Also very clean. If staying during summer there is no AC but they provided fans which were very helpful.

Absolutely delightful

This home was so nice. It was extremely comfortable and well cared for. The whole neighborhood is gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting out on the front and back porches amongst the giant trees and beautiful flowers. The beds were very cozy and the kitchen supplies were well stocked. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Perfect Family Vacation & Great Location

Great, quiet neighborhood with easy access to all that Tahoe has to offer. Very convenient to Sawtooth Trail for hiking and MTB as well as Truckee River Trail. Easy walk to downtown Truckee and restaurants off Brockway Road. In winter close to Northstar and other skit resorts. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked to cook meals as desired, and it has modern appliances. Great supply of fans in hotter weather. Property manager was responsive to our needs. Upon arrival we thought it odd that there was only keycode access to the garage with no key. This was a minor inconvenience until a thunderstorm and power outage of 3 hours left us locked in without a way to safely and securely leave (it could have been worse -- we could have been locked out). Property Management was responsive, even though it was a SAT, but didn't have a key either. It was resolved in about 40 minutes but suggest inquiring to make sure that they have added a lock box with key prior to renting (they told us they would be resolving this after our stay). Only other suggestion is to offer a fresh sponge in the kitchen for each new guest. Overall, we would come back and stay again!

Loved My Stay at Wintercreek

This was my first time at this residence but I had stayed in this development for several years in the past. This far surpassed my previous experience. Wintercreek is close to the Truckee Regional Park and Downtown which is great and a short drive to other attactions. The home is very comfortable and my party was very happy with the home. Lovely kitchen, homey family room and all said that the beds were very comfortable. I definitely recommend this home and would love to stay here again soon.

Dana, the property manager, is an absolute pleasure to work with - she is extremely timely, very responsive, and happy to answer any questions you might have. We are neatkniks and VERY picky about cleanliness, and this property checked all of the boxes for us! We wouldn't hesitate recommending this home - or Dana - to friends and family in the future.

Wonderful Winter Creek!!

The house smelled so very clean the moment you hit the door way. The layout of the home was great with two bedrooms upstairs and one master suite downstairs. The home had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Winter Creek is located in a very great little neighborhood close to downtown Truckee, shops and restaurants. We will absolutely be staying at Winter Creek again. Oh, the property management was wonderful to work with as well. A big thank you to Dana for all your help!!

I couldn't give this property 5 stars on overall satisfaction for two reasons. One is the number and size of the only tv in the house. One very small tv in the family room. I brought two kids and while we were out and busy during the the evenings it would have been nice for everyone to retreat to different locations in the house to watch tv and relax. The second reason is there is no AC...which normally wouldn't be an issue except that these houses are extremely close together and you HAVE to have the windows open in the summertime so your neighbors hear everything from you and you hear everything from them. One of the neighbors were out on their back porch (which is backed up to all the bdr windows to this house) partying until around 2am. We had to close the windows which made it very hot..not a very good nights sleep. So 3 suggestions to the owners...1) Please invest in more TV's for the bedrooms and a bigger one for the family room and 2) Buy some fans for the bedrooms so the air can be moved around when its hot and it can drown out noise from neighbors when the windows are open and 3) A gas grill would have been awesome. Other than that this is a great property with a great management team.
