My wife and I just spent four restful nights at this beautiful property in early October. The grounds and mountain views are magnificent, the house is roomy and well-appointed, and John from property management responded quickly and patiently to our questions and concerns. We look forward to returning.

The house and property are beautiful and everything about our stay was outstanding. John was super-responsive before and during our stay. Wonderful location just outside the charming village of Dorset and an easy 10 minute drive into Manchester. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the area.

This beautiful Victorian home with bucolic views of the valley and mountains, is a special find. The location, off a quiet road in Dorset, is great for walks and biking. The property is very well groomed, with an expanse of lawn, a bubbling brook and wildflowers surrounding it. The house is charming and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well supplied for in-home cooking. To top it off, the owners were extremely responsive and we were able to bring our dog, who loved chasing balls on the lawn.

This property was even better than the photos in most every way. The location itself was perfect for access to lovely Dorset and Manchester, and so beautiful with the gentle, flowing creek where we saw a grey heron every morning and even a bobcat prowling in the back yard, disappearing into the abundantly beautiful wildflowers. The surrounding mountains and trees were just beginning to take on their fall colors. The back porch was a favorite morning place to linger with coffee. It was magical!Inside, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need in a stay especially if you plan to cook most of your meals there. We picked apples at Mad Tom's Orchard and made apple crisp to enjoy by the fireplace on the large, comfortable sectional couch. The bedroom were equally cozy with very comfortable beds--even the twins! Bathrooms were plentiful enough to meet the needs of our 8 guests and the showers were great! The overall decor is mostly a modern plus mid century vintage. The house is beautiful, calming, relaxing, Out host, John was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, everyone agreeing we needed a longer stay, and can't wait to return!
