This is a quaint traditional Maine house with lots of historical charm. The Host was pleasant and available to take our call when we had questions about the property and the area.

Old houses have a soul - a soul born of the people who have loved, laughed and lost over the life of the house. This home was one of the original houses in the quintessential village of Friendship Maine. 4 years ago. The house was in desperate need of love, and I loved it from the moment I saw it - sad, tired, and in desperate need of someone who could bring life and love back into the house. So I made it my mission to retain the feel of the house, respecting the life it has lived for over the last 130 plus years. As she stood tall and straight, I told her she would be "refreshed". And she is once more, lovely !!!

Why they chose this property

The village of Friendship is still a working fishermen's community, with the emphasis on "community". It is a safe place, where children ride bicycles, people walk, and neighbor help their neighbors. Sitting on the porch, friendly faces say hello. You can set on the wrap around porch and have your morning coffee while enjoying the sea breeze; or walk down to the public landing and watch the fisherman load and unload the days catch. Ther are many nature trails in and around the community
