Escape to Tides Cottage, the Pinnacle waterfront home in Irvington, Virginia. Upscale waterfront located on the famous Carter's Creek. The Nantucket-inspired cottage is newly renovated with high ceilings and loads of natural light. Enjoy waterfront living on Carters Creek at its BEST! Tides Cottage is the fun, happy place and only 5 minutes to town.

The home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The kitchen is fully equipped for Gourmet dinning, with 3 barstools at the kitchen island and seating for 8 in the dining room. The family room offers ample seating with 2 large sofas and 2 comfortable chairs, perfect for group gatherings. Enjoy entertainment options such as DirectTV, board games, and a selection of novels. The main living area, dining room, kitchen, and primary bedroom all have 20’ vaulted ceilings.

The very PRIVATE deep water pier has 2 kayaks, a paddle board, custom built in seating, 2 lounge chairs along with sunshades and umbrellas to get out of the sun. Built in cooler for cold drinks. The pier is an amazing getaway. Crab and fish with provided nets and poles for fishing.

The main patio is conveniently accessible from the living and dining area, where you’ll have a delightful space to relax and socialize. This area features a sitting area, a gas fire pit, grill, picnic table, and Adirondack chairs.

The primary suite has a luxurious TempurPedic bed, an ensuite bath, and a secluded secondary patio where you can unwind in tranquility. The second and third bedrooms each offer queen beds and are conveniently located near a full bath, providing ample space and comfort for your guests. For added privacy, a fourth loft bedroom is on the second floor with its own private full bath. All linens and towel are provided.

The pier is on deep water with 3 boat slips accommodating 60', 58' and 40' yachts. Two kayaks, a paddle board, 2 fishing poles, and 4 crab pots are provided for your entertainment. New updates this year to the pier include built-in seating, chaise lounges, sunshades, misters, water & electric, Yeti coolers, fish cleaning station, and lighting. A new floating dock is attached to the pier for easy launch of the paddle board and kayaks, or to help getting on and off your boat.

This is a spectacular property! Refreshingly clean, bright and cheerful and wonderfully warm, comfortable and welcoming. Gorgeous setting and the location is ideal and convenient to everything. Lovely, well appointed home, Be aware that 4th bedroom, upstairs, may be appropriate for young people/children, but probably not for senior adults, though stairs and upstairs bathroom are great. Our group of 6 retirees enjoyed and appreciated the quality of the house and its furnishings.

Beautiful home and property with well equipped kitchen, large open space with dining table and chairs, comfortable couches with TV. We enjoyed the dock area and liked that the property was within walking distance of Tides Inn. Would definitely stay again.

Great home in scenic location

The home is beautiful and well maintained. Outside of not catching any fish or crabs (too early in the year) we had a relaxing stay. Barry, the host is extremely responsive. When we found the water feeding the showers and sinks was lukewarm at best, he sent a tech to adjust the hot water heaters and the situation was immediately rectified.
