Cozy Log cabin with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located on a picturesque farm The cabin is child and dog friendly. Sleeps six people. Ground floor has a KING size bedroom and a loft with two singles, a fouton in the living room. One bathroom on the ground floor with washer and dryer. Streamnig tv. wifi. Central heat/air. Fully equipped kitchen, has everything you need for a relaxing stay away from home. The covered porch has a gas grill and picnic table. Events can be held here with accommodations for up to 23 people in all rental properties on the farm. The Maury River Road meanders with the Maury River for swimming, kayaking and fishing. Great hiking in the area and golf at two different golf courses. Downtown Lexington has fine dining and shopping with two universities, Washington & Lee and the Virginia Military Institute.
This is a great property for reunions and weddings as there are two cabins and the lodge which is a big 4 bedroom house. #481287.
It is also great for just two people who want a private getaway as the other properties and the farm operation is off in the distance. The two cabins sit about 100 feet apart.

We had a great time , seeing my daughters waking up with the happiness to see the horses its priceless, also we enjoyed walking around the farm, nothing to complained, the cabin was clean and very welcoming.

This property was perfect. quick hit to Virginia Horse Park. Big ice cubes in the fridge for those who enjoy a bourbon at the end of the night. Was a great place to stay.

Annual cabin trip

We always have a restful time at the cabin! We have gone annually for the last 6 years and look forward to it every year. Great views and very friendly hosts. Our pups always look forward to seeing Benji, the horses and cows too!

Two-wheel Reunion

Met up and stayed in two cabins here with a friend and a few family members. Three of us on motorcycles enjoyed perfect roads with little traffic, and two did gravel/mountain biking on equally great trail/gravel roads. Excellent riding for all with a porch and a view that made for great bench racing afterward. Surrounded by natural beauty, it would be easy to overlook how comfortable and well-built the cabins are. A big “thanks” to Amanda and David!

Amazing views!

What a great cabin! The views were spectacular… we sat over morning coffee watching the mist roll away, revealing mountains and meadows. This was amazing as a stand alone, but then cabin itself was perfect…clean, adjustable AC, hot shower, plenty of towels, and a very short checkout list which made it nice as we were leaving. The owners were accommodating when a summer storm threatened hail, making space for us to shelter our cars, and then ferrying us up to the house. I can’t say enough. Definitely on our list of return vacation spots. Thank you so much, Amanda!!

Amazing — highly recommend !!

Our family was in need of a remote place for r and r and Lazy Acres was amazing !! We spent most of our time in the porch enjoying coffee, beautiful breezes and the spectacular views. Amanda and Benji were there to greet us upon arrival and made our stay so welcome. We enjoyed the relaxation of the farm, visit to the safari and some local eateries. Having the horses in the pasture made it special. The cabin was spotless and had everything one needed. We will be returning in the fall :)

We built the cabins on our farm in 2000. We are two miles from the VA Horse Center. These cabins are ideal for people showing horses at the Horse Center because we are two miles away. Only 5 miles from downtown Lexington.

Why they chose this property

You feel like you are way out in the country because of the surrounding farms and pastures yet you are minutes from downtown Lexington. We have the best of both worlds. The views of the Blue Ridge are beautiful.

What makes this property unique

Situation to Lexington and the Virginia Horse Center make this an idyllic play to stay. Relaxing, lots of space to walk, fish, enjoy the countryside and wildlife, yet only 10 minutes to downtown Lexington
