Please note that Shipyard is a gated community. We require ID information for the guest making the reservation and car details for issuing passes. Shipyard charges us the owner for each pass. The owner supplies the first guest car pass, but an additional pass is $30-50 depending on when requested

Enjoy your next vacation at our Beachwalk Villa on the lovely Island of Hilton Head. Inside the private Shipyard community. Beachwalk is the closest villa complex to the beach within Shipyard, just a short walk down a shady path. This Secure Keyless Entry unit comes equipped with high speed internet access and the use of the owner's beach locker.

Our cozy nautical-style villa has an eat-in kitchen, newly installed in 2022. Due to water leak hazards, we do not supply an ice maker. The dining room seats six and large living room with a queen sleeper sofa, Flat Screen TV, DVD and VCR. The master bedroom has a king-size bed bed (Firm Mattress new in 2020), Flat Screen TV and DVD with huge walk in closet, while the guest room has two double beds (Med Firm Mattress new in 2022), a TV/VCR, and stocked with plenty of books, puzzles, and games for the kids. Infant port-o-crib, stroller, toddler's booster chair, and other pre-school items available in the unit. Also we provide convenient storage access via a Shipyard Beach Locker to beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, umbrella and other family beach gear. You are welcome to use the beach locker during your entire stay. We love our family home so please no Smoking. Pets permitted wtih additional Pet Fee.

Ask about our three bedroom Tennismaster unit for family reunions and large parties. We also offer multi week discounts.

Relax in the exclusive, serene surroundings of Shipyard while also being conveniently located to a multitude of recreational activities. Across the street you will find the world-class Van der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club with 20 courts. There are miles of bike trails that wind under the majestic live oaks. If you enjoy golf, you will love the 27 holes of championship golf where you can watch the native bird population glide through the remote lagoons.

The community pool is just steps away from the villa or you can take a walk or bike ride to the beach. We have arrangements with Riding Tigers Bike Rentals to obtain the lowest discounted prices on weekly bike rental prices for our guests. Delivery, pickup, locks and baskets are all included in their bike rental price.

Beachwalk is within walking distance to the Sonesta Resort Hotel within shipyard, where you can choose from three restaurants or an indoor/outdoor bar. Very nearby in Sea Pines you have access to horseback riding, dolphin watching, boat tours, kayaking, sailing, fishing, and great outlet shopping. Something for everyone!

Pots and pans need to be replaced is all the Teflon on every pot is pretty much coming off. Other than that great place clean easy to find easy access to the beach.

Thank you so much for your feedback. For all guest, the best way to bring such items to my attention is a direct phone call, especially if deemed dangerous. We take great care to inspect in spring and fall, but over the summer rolllerboards can cause damage on the stairs outside. We will notify the HOA immediately.

This place was absolutely wonderful! I did a solo trip with my pup but the villa is so spacious and comfy, a family of 5 could easily spread out and be comfortable. The kitchen was so nice and had everything you could need. There are so many amenities here. The beach and pool are just a few minutes walk. The grounds are beautiful and it's a very pet friendly community (bring a flashlight for walking pups at night). I would book here again and again. The only thing I will say is come with realistic expectations. This is a beach rental so expect a few dings here and there and for the outside to show some weathering. Also if anyone coming has an aversion to stairs this isn't practical for you. There are 6 to the front door, a step down into living room, about 4 out back and both bedrooms are upstairs. With that being said I'm not in super shape and had no issues. Bonnie is so great to communicate with and the check in here was the easiest I've had at any place I've stayed in Hilton Head. I highly recommend.

Great Week on the Island

Our stay was perfect. The beach locker made the trip 10x’s easier. We rented bikes and were able to bike to the beach which was much easier than walking.

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was very convenient to the beach. Very clean and it was like home away from home. I would definitely recommend staying here. Bonnie is very pleasant to work with. She answered all our questions and everything was just like she said.

Enjoyed our stay

We were very happy with the property as it was close to the beach, about a 5 minute walk and had a nice pool, and bicycles were included so we did not have to pay extra to rent bikes. Our two grandsons enjoyed the toys and games provided. All in all it was very enjoyable!

Great Location

We loved our stay at beach walk. The beach locker was a HUGE help with our small kids, and kept us from dragging everything back and forth to the beach. The decor was a little outdated, but the condo was very well stocked. Bonnie accommodated a late checkout for us which was a bonus. We would stay here again!

Great location and complex

I love Shipyard and the convenience of Beachwalk relative to the beach. This unit is very nice, well equipped, and comfortable. Skylights in master BR may be an issue for those wanting to sleep in or take a nap in blackout conditions, but not an issue for us. The use of the owner’s beach chairs and storage locker at the Beach Club was a nice bonus.

GIRLS TRIP!! we had a great time ..the bike trails were fantastic ..Bonnie was very responsive and helpful ..the unit was great a little outdated but a great price ....overall a great place to spend time at the beach with friends!!😊!! Felt like home to me💕!!

Perfect vacation spot.

194 Beachwalk is within walking distance to the beach. Everything you could possibly need for a perfect beach stay is present, including bicycles, beach toys, beach "furniture" and every kitchen need. This 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom condo had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Furnishings are roomy and very accomodating, not to mention how attractive and comfortable they are. We hope to be able to return next year.

The house was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with spices. Excellent location close to the beach. Importantly, the communication with the owner was great. Labor Day Trip

Had an enjoyable weekend with my daughter and grandkids. Beachwalk 194 was well maintained, updated and well-equipped. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Came right after hurricane so the outside area needed some clean up. Parking was a challenge but the owner forewarned us so we were prepared. Overall, great experience.

We've really enjoyed our three months here. The decor is cheerful, the new floors are wonderful and the owner provides many extras (well stocked kitchen, beach towels, bikes etc.). The locker at the beach is very convenient and well stocked with chairs and toys. The double beds in the guest room were great for our visiting children and grandkids. The owner responed to all questions immediately and is a delight to work with. Looking forward to returning next year to our home away from home!

A bit of a walk

Nice quiet secluded condo. Loved the beach pass and locker! A beach cart is also provided. Condo is the farthest from the beach, but everything we needed fit in the beach locker, so all we had to take were drinks and snacks! Condo is dated but adequate! Kitchen has been updated and is well stocked but no Keurig or automatic ice maker. We didn’t find Kleenex…so bring your own! We love HHI and had a great stay!

As mentioned, the unit is about a 10-12 minute walk to the beach. I do recommend buying a bag of ice at the start of your stay. Ice makers are a big liability in a rental for leaks and damage.. Love the new floors

We arrived for the month of December to watch over a house we are building. The unit is nicely decorated and kitchen is well stocked for our needs. The owner is very attentive. There was a small problem with a toilet and we notified the owner. She got right back with us and took care of everything promptly. Being older, it was great having new chairs in the beach locker so we did not have to carry anything when we wanted to sit at the beach

Our family loves Hilton Head. We are owner operated and have rented direct since 2005. We live in Atlanta and would go 3-4 times a year so we decide to invest in something we love and can share with our friends and guests.

What makes this property unique

Every time we go, we find something new to do. As our children have gotten older we have ventured out to Daufuskie Island, kayaking, and full day hikes on Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge. Not to mention clam digging at the pier, crabbing at Shelter Cove, and fishing in Shipyard's lagoons.
