NEWLY REMODELED beach home with spectacular view! Best location on the lake! This dream vacation home will help wash away the stress. It is located in Oceanside Village, a family friendly community.

* Large Master Bedroom: QUEEN BED with large closet.
*2ND Bedroom: bunk bed (full bed on bottom and 1 twin on top).
*3RD Bedroom: 2 twin beds.
1 Full bath and 1/2 bath

Includes: Large flat screen TV in LR. Also, Flat screen TV in 3 bedrooms. FREE WIFI and CABLE, Clothes washer/dryer, dish washer, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, toaster,toaster oven/broiler, blender, all cooking utensils, dishware, cookware and GAS GRILL. Bath towels and bed linens are supplied. Must bring OWN Beach Towels and Beach Chairs. Home has a huge covered porch overlooking lake with perfect view of sunrise. Watch fireworks on beach, while sitting on porch @ night! Enjoy the wildlife of the lake. Fish from your backyard. Walk to beach, or use beachfront parking with restaurant on beach. Walk to all activities which are indoor/outdoor heated pool, also outdoor pool for adults and children, community center, gym, library, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, bocce ball courts, basketball courts, volley ball and horseshoes.
Golf Cart rental available at neighborhood office.

The house could really use a deep cleaning and some TLC. The master bedroom has no flooring, just plywood. Mattresses were worn out and could feel the springs. Great location. Close to the beach. Nice view of the lake from the back porch. Oceanside Village has nice beach parking for their guests.

Relaxation haven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The location is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. View from the deck is amazing. Looking forward to renting from Betsy again.

*LAKE HOME*

The place is nice and the fish are always biting at the lake! We always stayed comfortable, even with the hot weather because the AC is great here! Lots of room for the family!

The Pond

We had a wonderful stay. Only complaint was that there wasn't any lights working on back deck. Solar lights didn't come on so deck usage was limited. Parking was a bit of a challenge for 2 cars but we managed.

Elizabeth was very pleasant and easy to work with. The house is in need of some repairs and a new mattress in the master bedroom, but overall served it's purpose for what we needed.

Rachel, So sorry you weren't happy w/mattress. It is BRAND NEW. Haven't had any other complaints referring mattress. The minor repair you're referring to, must be the cylinder on storm door, that you had told me about. It had been jammed open. Repair has been done. Thanks for staying!

Great Property

This was my second year in a row staying here and we had just as much if not more fun than the last! We love the location! The fish are always biting in the pond out back and the property definitely gives you an at home feeling. Elizabeth is the sweetest and always fast to respond! We will be back.

Excellent Vacation

We had a great time at Southern Comfort. The back deck was very nice looking out over the lake...loved feeding the turtles. Everything was just as described and getting to and from the amenities (pools, splash pad, beach) was easy. Very accommodating. Elizabeth was very helpful in returning an item that was accidently left in the house when we departed. Definitely will stay there again.

Check in was easy! Owner was always available if needed, which we didn’t really need anything, but she introduced herself and was very nice! Home was wonderful. Quick trip to the beach. Easy access to pools and my kids loved seeing all the turtles and geese by the lake that we could sit out on the porch and watch. Loved it here

Memorial Weekend Getaway

The weather was miserable all three days of our stay. But, we enjoyed the house. Would love to come back another time when the weather is nice. The grandkids loved the local duck, geese and turtle population.

Family vacation at the beach

We have stayed at this same house for many years now. Our kids look forward to it every year. We love that the house is right on the lake and not too far from the beach. We love using the pool and hot tub in the neighborhood. Elizabeth is an excellent host and always checks on us to make sure we have everything we need; it was another fun family vacation full of memories we won't forget!

First time in Myrtle Beach

The name was fitting to this charming home. Elizabeth was very responsive to any questions that I had and was very accommodating when I needed to change our vacation plans. Perfect Family Vacation!

Our family had a wonderful time at this home. We rented a golf cart for convenient access to pools and beach. We really enjoyed evening sunset golf cart rides! OSV is a great family location with tons of activities and entertainment for kids of all ages. My daughter loved the splash park at the pool. Conch Cafe is convenient for a late afternoon lunch; outside seating has wonderful views! Elizabeth was a kind and responsive host! Thank you for sharing your beach house!

Perfect Location with an amazing view.

We stayed for a week and loved this location. you can fish from the back yard. It’s centrally located in the perfect spot to the pool and beach. The morning sunrise over the lake view was absolutely breathtaking. Very clean house. Minor repairs needed in some areas but would 10/10 rent it again. The entire process was smooth. Extremely friendly and easy to work with. Thank you for allowing us a week of “southern comfort” .

Wonderful stay at Oceanside Village

We’ve been coming to Oceanside Village for a few years now and this was by far the best stay we have had. The house was perfect! The view of the lake from the back deck was beautiful. We loved seeing all the birds and turtles. The house is close enough to easily walk to the beach or pool, or a very short golf cart ride. Betsy was wonderful to deal with! She quickly responded to messages, and answered all our questions. We cooked in a lot, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Overall it was the perfect place for a nice relaxing vacation and we hope to make this our go to place for our yearly trip to the beach
