We loved our stay and hope to be back! The location is very close to PSU campus, but you stay away from noise and crowds :) beautiful property and great communication from property manager.
We had a great stay. We were visiting for sorority parents weekend and wanted a place where we could have some of my daughter’s friends over and it was perfect for entertaining. It is also situated close to a trail so plenty of hiking right outside the door. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed here for a weekend in March for our son’s basketball tournament. We are a family of 5 with 2 dogs and also brought our mother in law. The place was perfect and in a great location within 10-15 minutes of all of our destinations. The hosts are very friendly and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at this house! The owners are very helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with. The house was perfect for PSU football weekend. Short drive to PSU campus and the house is close to a pretty walking trail. We would love to stay there again!
Excellent location for a Penn State weekend. Location is in a wooded area that makes you feel like you're really away from it all but your literally only minutes away from PSU. A great spot. Dan and Daria are great hosts; friendly, approachable and attentive.
This was our nicest stay in State College. The guest house was absolutely charming and cozy. The hosts had a beautifully decorated tree for our Dec visit as well as local treats, chocolates, cheeses and more! The location is private yet convenient to everything for a PSU visit. The beds are comfortable and the space I was perfect for our family of 6. This was truly the nicest place we’ve found for our PSU visits!
We loved the cottage and hope to stay there again in the summer when the landscape will be fully in bloom. At first, I was worried the location would be too rural, but it was perfect. It was a short drive to campus and restaurants, but we felt isolated, tucked away into the woods at the base of Shingleton Gap.
We loved our stay in this beautiful, well-appointed home. The owner provided snacks and goodies and was very easy to communicate with. We had a great time; my only regret is we wished we could stay longer. Thank you for a great visit! :)
We were in town for the Spring football game. I had chosen the property in part because I'd cut the lawn there as a teenager over 50 years earlier. Inside, the Lodge had everything you'd want, and more. We hiked up the mountain trail and quickly felt we were fully in nature and away from ordinary concerns. We had a terrific time, and can't wait to come back again!
We rented this house for PSU graduation. We hosted a lunch after graduation. It was perfect, room for our 15 or so guests. Home is advertised, comfortable, homey, with room to spread out. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful location, nestled in the woods. Nice outdoor patio with table and chairs. Owners were very nice and responsive. I highly recommend the property.
Just another wonderful stay in this quaint cottage.

This home was located in a beautiful wooded setting. This home is nature. But also within a few minutes to town. Everything in the home was modern with a well stocked kitchen and very clean. Daria and Dan were great hosts we would definitely recommend this home!!
This is our "home away" from home. The cottage accommodates our family perfectly. We also appreciate our pleasant hosts who are just a walk away. A great travel location and value for PSU visitors.
A lovely cottage nestled in a wooded area but close to PSU and the State College community. The owners' proximity to the cottage adds to the feeling of welcome and comfort that this charming cottage brings.
