Nelly was very accommodating and met us late in the evening due to a delayed plane. Her home was clean with traditional furnishings. Quiet and wonderful home base. Outdoor space was excellent, pool was super cold but clean.

Gorgeous, historic home/chateau in the heart of picturesque Perigord

This spacious home blends the beauty and elegance of a chateau with all of the modern convenience of the 21st century. The rooms are lovely and cozy; the wood beams and floors warm and historic; the kitchen, bathrooms, and Wi-Fi as up-to-date as can be. Our hosts were very friendly and kind, inviting, and instantly responsive to any question, concern, or need when we reached out to them. We loved our monthlong stay in Nelly and Jean’s home. I can’t recommend the home or our hosts highly enough.

An idyllic location in the French Dordogne river valley. Classic, well maintained, quiet, large old home adjacent to a medieval church and near family activities. The pool was a welcome addition during the warm days. Well stocked kitchen with a pleasant outdoor eating area. We would certainly return. I was surprised by the cash request for the use of sheets and towels.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location

We had a wonderful family holiday in this beautiful home in June 2019. Nelly and Jean were lovely hosts and came to meet us and show us around even though our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until well after midnight. The photos don’t do the house justice. It has amazing character and is lovingly maintained. Even though we were there during a heatwave and the temperature exceeded 40C at times, the inside of the house was always cool and the covered outdoor area and pool were a perfect place to be. The location is excellent and is within a 15 minute drive of many amazing locations in the Dordogne region. Highly recommended and we hope to return in the future

Située au cœur de la Dordogne, cette demeure au caractère certain est le lieu idéal pour prendre du repos. Les activités touristiques du Périgord sont toutes accessibles de la maison moyennant un trajet de moins d'une heure. Nous y avons passé dix jours formidables avec nos quatre enfants et sommes repartis requinqués pour l'année. Les propriétaires sont toujours près à vous rendre service et à vous faciliter le séjour. Vraiment une escale exceptionnelle que nous réitérerons.

Lovely house and very well equipped

Photos did not do the house justice. There is lots of room inside the house, it is well furnished and it is very private & quiet. The owners have renovated the house and made a lot of effort to retain its charm. The pool was the perfect size and was secure. The outside eating area is lovely on a hot day and we all had a fantastic holiday visiting the amazing places that are on their doorstep. The only suggestions that we could make would be a parasol at the pool. The owners were friendly, helpful and charming. Thank you for a lovely stay. Soul Family

Nous avons été très satisfaits du séjour dans la magnifique demeure de Nelly et Jean, un couple généreux et dont les nombreuses attentions à notre égard nous ont profondément touchées. La maison est parfaite (nous étions une famille avec 4 enfants), chaque détail est réfléchi. La propreté est impeccable, la piscine chauffée très agréable. Le charmant hameau et ses secrets peuvent satisfaire des locataires plus sédentaires, et la localisation centrale satisfera les locataires souhaitant visiter le Périgord. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation, même du Canada !

Les hôtes Nelly et Jean sont très chaleureux, l'accueil a été parfait, aux petits soins pour la famille. La maison est telle que nous l'imaginions sur les photos, grand salon séjour, piscine chauffée bien ensoleillée, terrasse très agréable car ombragée, la maison est très confortable et située dans un village typique et calme. Côté tourisme on est prêt de tout, de la dordogne, de la vallée des châteaux, de sarlat, emplacement idéal. On final 10 jours de vacances au calme, dans une région magnifique et dans une maison très confortable et familiale. Merci Nelly et Jean!

La description de la location est fidèle à la réalité. L'accueil des propriétaires est très amical. La maison est propre et très bien entretenue, la piscine très bien sécurisée ce qui ,pour nous, avec un enfant de 4 ans, était impératif. La région, que nous connaissions déjà ,est toujours aussi belle et les visites nombreuses. A recommander sans problème.

La maison correspond totalement a la description et aux photos. Elle est vraiment tres belle et decoree avec gout et soin. Je la recommande a tout ceux qui ont l'amour aux meubles anciens et des gites qui ont de l'ame. Veyrignac est une petite village de quelques maisons groupees autour de la vieille eglise. L'endroit est a la fois calme est romantique. Un coin de la region tres pittoresque. La charmante Dordogne, des magnifiques jardins, des vieux chateaux, des grottes et des bastides peuvent ravir des petits et des grands. Et je veux encore une fois remercier nos hotes chaleureux Nelly et Jean, toujours prets a reagir sur nos demandes. Ils nous ont fait le tour du village et nous ont fait partager leur amour a leur region et leur autentique maison. Nous esperons bien de revenir Tatiana. Russie
