Dear Gregory, Thank you very much for taking time to leave a comment regarding your stay, this is very helpful for us, although I should clarify some points. As you may imagine, there is nothing much we can do regarding how the staircase were build but we will let the building management know about this, since they are in charge of the common parts. I am sorry you think that the apartment had no vanity, but I also wish that you would recognize that it’s 100% match the description and pictures you saw on the listing and made you choose it. Regarding the bed, I am so confused, our bed linen is managed by Elis, the leading company in the hospitality field, and we will of course file a complain about this to them. I wish you would have let us know during your stay, we would have changed the bed right away. About the amenities, as a reminder, the property you booked is self-gathered, which means that we only provide the basic as you are saying in your comment. Regarding the towels, we provide a set of three towels per person, and I am very sorry it wasn’t enough for your 5 nights stay, especially as we did bring you more towels during your stay. But once again, if you would have told us, we could have provided more. The washer/dryer can be difficult to use when you don’t speak French, this is the reason why we provide a booklet with all the instruction in English on how to use it, that was showed to you by Robin during the check-in. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, of course we would have prefer having a better ranking, but we do know that you faced some troubles that affected your stay, even if fortunately, it did not ruin it. We are glad you enjoyed the neighborhood, and the apartment’s equipment, specially the king size bed; although all our team and the owner of the apartment feel very sorry you dealt with these two problems. This is the main residence of the owner and she never experience such trouble, neither our tenants as you can see on our guest reviews since 2016. We understand the inconvenience caused by the exceptional event, and already reported it to the owner who filed a complaint to the police. For your information this is forbidden in France to disturb the neighborhood, but it is also out of our control. In this specific case, the neighbors were celebrating their graduation. Regarding the washing machine, we take all the responsibility, we should provide an apartment with fully functional equipment. Last tenants, who left just before you arrive told us that the washer wasn’t working perfectly. We checked, run a full cycle and did not notice any problem. When you called us to let us know that the washer wasn’t working, our technician went to the apartment this same day and took off a dime from the evacuation system, then he tried the washer and it worked, so we thought that it was the coin that was causing the trouble. We did not get any news from you until the eve of your departure to let us know about the noise that occurred during the weekend. I called the store where the owner purchased the washing machine in 2016 as it still under warranty, and the first availability they have to come and check the washer is June 3rd. Today, we can confirm that the technician came and fixed the problem, it was due to a wrong use of the washing machine, which caused the tearing of the engine belt Again, we apologize for this trouble, we work hard to maintain our high level of client satisfaction, but in your case, we failed on giving you a solution. As for the refund you wish we offer, I am sorry, but you did no gave us a chance to let us offer it to you. You called us on May 20th to inform us on what happened and write the review the day after. We obviously did not have the time to get back to you on such short notice as the owner was not in France. All our team and the owner joins me to apologize to you again, and assure you that all these issues are solved.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback and deeply regret any inconveniences you experienced during your stay with us. To begin, we extend our apologies for the disparity between your expectations and our initial communication. I want to clarify that until the day of your arrival, you were scheduled to arrive at 1:30 pm, and we had planned to welcome you as we usually do for all tenants. Unfortunately, your flight was delayed, and you informed us about this on the same day of your arrival, at 11:48 am, stating that you would arrive around 10 pm. Given the last-minute notice, we were unable to arrange for someone to welcome you at that late hour, so we suggested leaving the keys at our agency's address for you to enter the apartment. Our original intent was to promptly provide you with comprehensive video instructions. Subsequently, one of our team members promptly sent two instructional videos on accessing the key box and three additional videos illustrating entry to the apartment, along with a tour of the building and a detailed written process. We filmed these videos during the afternoon to ensure a smooth experience and prevent any dissatisfaction due to not meeting us upon your arrival. Regarding the self-check-in procedure for late arrivals, we fully empathize with your concerns, particularly after a delayed flight. To address this, we proactively engaged our chauffeur service and instructed them to assist you in transferring to the key box, offering guidance or assistance following your long journey. After retrieving the keys, a process that took only five minutes, the chauffeur ensured your seamless transition to the apartment and assisted with your luggage. We deeply regret the television issue you encountered. Our team diligently tried to support you through video calls and made several inquiries about the possibility of calling or making an in-person visit to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, we received no response from you, and we acknowledge that despite detailed messages explaining the television operation, the issue remained unresolved. We also sent you an updated PDF explanation because we changed the internet and TV provider, and the document in the apartment was not suitable for TV settings. Lastly, the unforeseen water interruption also surprised us. While you mentioned 9 am to 5 pm, it was still frustrating, and we understand your concern. A notice was posted on the entrance door, but it wasn't there on the day of your arrival due to a water problem in another apartment in the building. This was not planned, and we were unaware of it. You notified us about this issue on your last day in the apartment, and unfortunately, we had no control over its resolution. Your feedback is instrumental in our ongoing efforts to improve our service and communication. We sincerely hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to host your stay in the future, providing you with a more seamless and enjoyable experience.
