Great family unit at incredible location!

Perfect location with amazing views! The kitchen was very well equipped which made preparing Thanksgiving dinner a breeze! Our family would definitely recommend this property and would stay again. Employees at Luxury Resorts are friendly and professional making our stay worry and hassle free! The only suggestion would be that management refurbish all the pillows.

Beautiful views, amazing condo!

This condo was absolutely perfect for my husband and I and our 3 adult children. It was exactly what we expected from the listing and the views are amazing from the balcony and every window in the place! You can watch the sunrise from the kitchen nook or on the balcony. We spent every morning and every evening on the balcony! The condo itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We loved everything about it! I would highly recommend!

beautiful balcony, nice views. The place was in good shape. With a front gate code, elevator code, lock box, and beach gate, it felt secure, if not a bit cumbersome, but not to end the review on a negative note. We had a great time. I would stay there again, and recommend it. The kids loved the snoball stand across the street...Although it wasn't close, we went to Joe Patti's twice to get really good seafood to cook...and their beignets are the best I've ever had (and I grew up in New Orleans!). Oh, don't miss the Naval Air Museum...

Great property

Great unit but needs some TLC. Pads on chairs in dining area were not sturdy and need to be fixed. We kept falling through the chairs. Dryer very loud and not working well. Otherwise unit just needs other minor things. Bathtub in one of the bathrooms very slippery when trying to use shower.

Beach Colony Resort

Unit needs a lot of upgrading. Paint, new furniture, cabinets, etc. It worked for us, but it could have been nicer. We stayed in another unit before that was much nicer. We could have used a coffee table to play board games. The appliances in this unit made too much noise, including the washer and dryer and dishwasher. The buttons on the refrigerator were worn off. The balcony was fantastic and the beds were comfy. So it wasn't all bad.

Good but not great

The condo itself was nice, the entire facility however was somewhat frustrating. Every other day issue with elevator system. They day we got there had to climb 6 flights because there was a massive line waiting on 1 elevator, because one wasn’t working. The code system for the elevator made it worse. If you didn’t push the code in slowly it wouldn’t work. Multiple people just got off the elevator and used the stairs.

Very impressed with community and unit

We stay in the area every October and by far this unit was the best. It was very tastfully decorated, (not real beachy). It was very comfortable with plenty of seating in the living room. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the items in the kitchen as well as the fact that everything matched (utinsels, not like mis matched from a thrift store) as well as good quality dishes and cookware. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for 5 adults. The pool was very nice and we even grilled out one night down stairs and that worked out very well. The balcony was huge and the perfect size for our group. The only issue we had at all was lack of balcony furniture. We spend most of our time out side and there was only really seating for 3 and we had 5 adults. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and we would love to return. Added note: We usually stay in Gulf Shores or Orange beach and were not sure about restaurants in the Perdido area, but were pleasantly suprised. We can certainly recomend The Jelly Fish, Cotton, and The Oyster Bar. Thanks for a great time.

Worse stay ever!! Construction is understatement.

1-- The noise was horrendous.... at the beach even worse inside. All the windows were covered until Friday. I requested maintenance on Balcony door lock it was never fixed where it would lock. We also seen roaches. And this was reported the next day. I have rented there for many years prior but don't know if I'll be back there again. I was told they weren't working on the east building we would be fine then it was right the opposite. Hard to relax for the constant noise from 8 am-5pm. To relax was the reason we came there. I realize construction needed to be done just wasn't told the truth "you will not be effected by the construction it will not be in the building you are staying " when we were inquiring when making the reservation. There should be some kind of notice on website before booking warning of construction instead of email after booking!! The 20% discount was insufficient.

It was a nice condo however there were some problems. The elevators are a little tricky until you get used to the operation. Had to call manager due to water heater sealing and blowing off at the relief valve every night. All the deck chairs were loose, luckily they didn't collapse. It was nice to have a washer and dryer but the dryer ruined two shirts putting stains that will not come out (rust?) Freezer thawed out due from door coming open when you got ice. Chair in living are was too stained no-one wanted to sit in it. For the money I was very disappointed. But we made the best of it and accepted what we had.

Great view, convenient location!

Beach Colony East 6A is located in a beautiful location and was easy to find. The instructions provided were thorough and detailed. With 3 bedrooms and 4 beds, the condo provided plenty of room for 5 of us to be comfortable. The interior of the condo was clean, and linens were freshly laundered. The provided supplies were mostly sufficient for the week. We did bring some extra dishwasher detergent and toilet paper. We also brought our own toiletries, although the set of bath items was very nice. There were plenty of towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, and dishcloths. The new kitchen sponge and dish soap were also welcome. We were very impressed with the provided dishes, cookware, and kitchen accessories. We cooked at least twice a day and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Overall, the unit is very nice. Some of the furniture is a bit dated, and touch-up painting is needed throughout the unit. We did like the tile throughout, and the area rug in the living room brought some warmth to the chilly December evening. The balcony is spacious and wonderful for viewing the ocean. Unfortunately, one of the sliding doors in the bedroom was inoperative, so we weren't able to use that feature. I did place a maintenance call, and the management was responsive and responded the same day. They also followed-up to see if we needed anything else. We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach Colony East, and would gladly return in the future. Beach access is convenient and easy, and the indoor pool and hot tub were welcome for our winter visit.

Summer 2020 family vacation

This was our second time staying in Perdido and it was everything we wanted it to be. Communication and booking could not have been easier. Very accommodating and kind people. We will definitely return to this condo.

Everything was perfect, so many windows to look around everywhere, clean super clean, 3 balconies 3 bedroom & 3 bathrooms...if you’re looking for a perfect spot on the beach with plenty of privacy and plenty of room this place is perfect...elevators are fast and only a few steps to the pool or the beach

A few things were not working properly, but overall it was a good stay. The top of my baby's feet and palms of hands were very dirty after crawling on the floor the first evening.
