Perfect villa for a worry free vacation

we had a fantastic week in the beach house with the beach in sight and a lovely swimming pool. everything you need is there and you can get fresh croissants every morning by bike. It is a quiet area yet 50 meters from the promenade and beach. An ideal place to be with friends and/or family.

Private backyard oasis with easy access to sandy beach

Great backyard oasis with beautiful pool, easy walk to the beach with plenty of dining choices. The access to the bikes was a huge benefit. Jean Louis was very responsive to our questions and needs. Villa had very high-end furnishings and was fully stocked with everything you would need. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect resting days in Sete

Less than hundred steps from the sea, this stunning villa is a perfect base to discover Sete and area but also to chill with friends or family. Everybody will be pleased by privacy, details, comfort.…. The host is very welcoming. It could just be completed with a shower in the mastersuit bathroom, AC in the bedrooms and mosquitos-curtains when you sleep with open windows.

Big Disappointment

Nice property, good location, infested with insects, unresponsive owner. When we arrived the owner explained that an awning (to shade 2 of the rear bedrooms) wasn't working but he would fix it within 2 days - it never got fixed! He was very specific (several times in his introductory talk) not to use the air-conditioning and explained how to keep the property cool without it. Despite complying with his instructions, the heat inside the house was unbearable. Having got no response, from the owner, to my email requests to deal with the insects and to show me how to use the air-conditioning I tried to resolve the problems myself. I had some success with the insects, but their nests were inside the house (underneath kitchen units, in the walls of the laundry and under a bathroom floor). Turning on the air-con only seemed to make the house hotter! After 4 days, because the conditions were intolerable, we decided to "cut our losses" and leave. As we were packing I heard a noise coming from the garage (which is locked to prevent guests gaining access) and found the owner inside! I have no idea what he was doing there and when challenged about his lack of response to my requests for help, he told me that he hadn't received my emails. (in fairness to the owner, I checked upon my return to the UK, and he hadn't). However, he gave no explanation as to why he hadn't fixed the awning, seemed disinterested in the insect problem but, it was his response to me telling him that I tried to use the air con, that was the "final straw".............he had set it to heat (not cool) to stop people using it! We finished packing and couldn't leave soon enough!

Mon hote n'a pas apprécié son séjour et j'en suis désolé. Il n'a pas su maintenir la villa fraîche comme je le lui ai indiqué en la ventillant et en l'ombragant à l'aide des volets roulants. il a voulu mettre la clim alors que la villa n'est equipée que d'un plancher chauffant et rafraichissant. Il a mis en marche le plancher chauffant en mode chaud.. Il a eu des fourmis dans la maison, il y a eu une invasion a Sète, mais s'il m'avait averti, j'aurai pu les erradiquer avec le bon produit. Mon hotte ne m'a jamais prevenu, ni envoyé de message. Il m'a dit m'avoir envoyé un mail que je n'ai jamais reçu. Le moteur du store est tombé en panne juste avant son arrivée. Je lui ai dit que je viendrai le démonter le lundi pour avoir le bon modèle, mais comme la fabrique est fermée pendant un mois, j'ai préféré ne pas le déranger inutilement. Quant au garage, il n'est pas loué et reste une partie privative. J'habite à 5 minutes de la villa et j'intervient toujours trés rapidement quand mes vacanciers me signalent un problème. Dans ce cas il n'y a eu aucune communication de la part de ce vacancier, ce qui est regréttable.

Pas de vraie climatisation et hôte très désagréable

La maison est uniquement dotée d’un système de refroidissement par le sol qui permet, au mieux, de gagner 4°C par rapport à la température extérieure (qui peut monter à plus de 33°C en été). Avec ce système, le sol se couvre d’eau en permanence par condensation ce qui est très gênant. Par ailleurs le système ne fonctionnant pas au début de notre séjour, le propriétaire a fait intervenir un technicien pour le rétablir. A la fin de notre séjour, il nous a réclamé le paiement de cette réparation alors que nous n’étions absolument pas responsables du problème. Nous avons évidemment refusé et il s’est alors montré extrêmement agressif et insultant. Il a fallu que le service client d’Abritel intervienne pour le faire renoncer. Nous avons l’habitude de louer des maisons qui sont conformes à leur description et dont les hôtes sont aimables et de bonne foi, ici nous n’avons pas eu cette chance.

Lage, Lage und nochmals Lage

Die Lage dieser Unterkunft ist einfach genial, alles (Strand, Restaurants, Einkauf usw) in Fussdistanz erreichbar. Sogar eine Busstation mit der man in 15 Minuten im Zentrum ist, ist praktisch vor der Haustüre. Klar an die Fussbodenkühlung muss man sich gewöhnen ist aber so wie beschrieben.

Super Haus in toller Lage

Das Haus, die Lage und der Ort ist ideal für einen tollen Familienurlaub. Der Besitzer des Hauses ist sofort vor Ort, wenn es Probleme gibt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und komplett erholt wieder nach Hause gefahren und haben unseren nächsten Urlaub bereits dort wieder gebucht.

Traumurlaub in wunderschöner Villa

Diese wunderschöne Villa ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wünscht, die Lage direkt am Strand durch den Gartenzugang ist einfach unbeschreiblich. Herr Bouvet ist sofort zur Stelle wenn man Hilfe benötigt und hat uns mit regionalen Köstlichkeiten emfpangen. Schöne Location, gute Lage, direkt beim Strand

Wir haben in der letzten April-Woche eine wunderbare Woche in diesem tollen Haus verbracht. Lage und Haus sind top. Da wir es nicht sahene der Hinweis, dass der Pool "nur" von Mitte Mai bis ca. Ende September bezeheizt ist. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.

Fantastisch huis op een geweldige locatie.

In één woord fantastisch. Het huis, de locatie en niet te vergeten de verwelkoming door de eigenaar. Aan alles is gedacht: fietsen, speelgoed, ligbedden, alarm op het zwembad (wat rust geeft met kleine kinderen) en een fantastische uitgeruste keuken.
