It is a beautiful and comfortable villa situated within the tranquil residential area of Javea called “La Guardia Park". This private estate with its impressive pillared entrance is very well kept with restaurants and bars nearby. There are also tennis/petanque courts within a 5 minute walk.
With accommodation for 8 people, the villa is perfect for holiday makers who wish to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing vacation in private surroundings. The house features a large terrace where guests can swim in the 10 x 5m swimming pool and sunbathe in comfort on the loungers provided. The L-shaped Naya (covered terrace) is furnished with a dining table and comfy sofas where you can relax with a nice glass of chilled wine. There is also a BBQ area. The property features a large and beautiful garden filled with Mediterranean plants and shrubs. The area is very secure with private car parking for 2 cars (gated)
Inside the villa there are 4 stunning bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a lounge/dining room all on one level. The master bedroom has doors leading out onto the patio and poolside area. The en-suite has just been recently refurbished to a high standard. The second bathroom has a walk in shower and has also been recently refurbished. The lounge/dining room which leads directly onto the Naya is bright and comfortable with 2 large sofas and lovely table and chairs. Off the lounge is a cosy sunroom with armchairs providing a nice corner to catch up with some reading. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the amenities you would expect. The villa is newly decorated throughout. Installations include Wi-Fi, a 43” smart television with satellite and cable service (UK, French and German TV), a DVD, CD player and safe. All rooms are fitted with high velocity remote control fans and windows are fitted with mosquito nets. A children's high chair and cot is available. All linen, including pool towels, is provided. A complimentary welcome pack is also included. Baby-sitting and translation services are offered. The property is suitable for children and people with restricted mobility. We request no smoking inside the house and no pets.

Fabulous Family Holiday!

This is just the most lovely villa. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. It is spotlessly clean and a perfect home from home. The pool is great - we spent many hours enjoying it. There are lovely comfortable places to sit either in the sunshine or shade. The gardens are beautiful kept and very pretty. The welcome was good and went like clockwork. What really impressed us was that on the day we left the owner rang us to see if we’d had a lovely time and to ask if we had any suggestions to make the villa better. We honestly said there was nothing that needed improvement - this villa is wonderful and we highly recommend it.

Superb villa

We have recently come back from a stay in Casa Serena. We had a wonderful time. The villa is superbly equipped, and spotlessly clean. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans. The living area is modern and comfortable. The pool outside is fantastic and inviting, with plenty of sun loungers, and there are a range of different places to sit at different times of the day. There is a lovely outside dining area, and it was a delight to find a spotlessly clean BBQ. The villa is in a quiet residential area only a five minute drive from the Arenal, and close to some very beautiful small beaches. We have been coming to Javea for many years, and this is the best villa we have stayed in. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Beautiful Villa

We have just had a 10 day stay for a family group of 7 in this lovely villa. The Villa is beautiful , spacious , lots of outdoor seating and a fantastic pool. My husband is in a wheelchair with limited mobility and apart from 2 small steps in and out of the villa it was accessible for him, with lovely big walk in showers. The area is very quiet and just a short drive to the town/shops. Diane was very helpful throughout the booking process and we hope to return again.

Holiday Heaven

Simply superb villa with everything our family required to enjoy a wonderful holiday in this memorable accommodation. The villa was spotlessly clean, modern and the facilities both inside and out were second to none. The highlight for our child, however, was undoubtedly the incredible pool area. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and ceiling fans in the main living areas offered welcomed relief from the extremely high daily temperatures we experienced during our stay. The villa is situated in a very quiet residential area close to two family friendly restaurants, which was another added bonus. Having holidayed numerous times in Javea we can say that Casa Serena is quite honestly the best family accommodation we have had the pleasure of staying in. Diane and her team have been lovely to deal with and the welcome from Liz and her partner was greatly appreciated. We can't wait to return to this magnificent villa.

Fantastic property

What a lovely property in a quiet and relaxed location. The pool is amazing and we really did spend most of our holiday in it. The beautiful outside terrace was perfect for the bbq. Great communication with the host and I was very impressed with the well equipped kitchen. The ceiling fans are very effective and we hardly needed the aircon. Couldn’t fault the stay and wished I’d booked 2 weeks

Luxury villa spotlessly clean

We were meeted by Liz who was very welcoming as was the bottle of fizz and beers she left us. The villa is really nice and spotlessly clean and a beautiful pool area where we spent most of our time.i love to cook so this kitchen was perfect.stocked up with every utensil you would need.The bedrooms are all great with comfortable beds and aircon but we stuck to ceiling fans which were perfect. Overall a really nice stay and the owner Diane is lovely and couldn't be more helpful. If I had a slight negative comment I would say the property would benefit from an outdoor shower.but other than that I highly recommend this place 5*

Viajamos tres niños y tres adultos durante los primeros días del mes de agosto. La casa se encuentra ubicada en una urbanización muy tranquila y en una única planta, por lo que resultó muy cómoda para uno de los adultos que tenía problemas de movilidad. El lugar invita al relax. La piscina es muy amplia, y se limpia dos veces a la semana. Tiene juguetes para los niños, como pelotas y colchonetas inflamables, inflador, palas para la playa...La vivienda estaba impecablemente limpia. La cocina es muy amplia y no le falta detalle. Tiene todo tipo de electrodomésticos, cubertería y vajilla, de cristal y de plástico para usar en la zona de la piscina. Los electrodomésticos parecen adquiridos recientemente y todos funcionan perfectamente. Pudimos comer todos los días en el comedor exterior, donde corre una agradable brisa debido a su ubicación que hace que no notes las altas temperaturas del verano. Todas las habitaciones, incluido el salón cuentan con ventiladores de techo y con aparatos de aire acondicionado. Por la noche sólo necesitamos hacer uso de los ventiladores de techo pues tienen una alta potencia. Las duchas de los baños son muy amplias y cómodas. Utilizamos las dos a la vez sin que ninguna perdiera el agua caliente. En el salón, existe una estancia de lectura, con una buena colección de libros y de juegos de mesa. Eso sí, todos en inglés. A menos de cinco minutos andando existe un restaurante italiano donde también se pueden encargar paellas, sólo cierra los lunes. En este lugar es donde se encuentran ubicados los contenedores para tirar la basura. Para el resto, el coche es necesario. Debido a la afluencia de turistas durante este mes de agosto, las playas y lugares de ocio de la zona se encontraban con una muy alta ocupación por lo que hicimos mucha vida en la casa, agradeciendo la ubicación de la misma, donde siempre corría una agradable brisa, su amplitud que permitió que los niños corrieran, saltarán y bricaran a sus anchas sin sensación de agobio en ningún momento y las comodidades de la vivienda.

Superbe villa avec piscine

Très belle et spacieuse villa dans quartier résidentiel très calme. Magnifique et grande piscine. Beau jardin tropical. Ideal pour séjourner en famille ou entre amis. À 10 minutes à peine de la plage principale et des restaurants. Cuisine très bien équipée et grand placard dans les chambres. Très bon accueil sur place et cadeau de bienvenue. We stayed in this villa as a family of 8. 4 adults and 4 kids ages 6 to 13 years old. We were greeted on our arrival by Ana and a welcome pack was provided for us which was a lovely touch. I have to say this villa was stunning. immaculately clean, beautiful and catered for our every need. We wanted for nothing here and it exceeded all of our expectations. The villa is incredibly well kept and the new kitchen and bathrooms, provided an environment that enabled us to relax in relative luxury for our 2 week holiday. I simply cannot say enough about the place, the seating areas, the pool, the BBQ, the furnishings, the layout, the provision of games and pool accessories etc, all brilliant. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of amazing beaches, a car is ideal to explore. however there are also restaurants a short walk which were great, the food, atmosphere and the staff. As for the hosts of the villa, we could not have asked for more. One of our children had an issue that required a visit to the doctors during our stay. Diana, was on hand to provide advice and guidance to enable us to resolve this issue quickly and with minimal fuss. Anytime we needed Diana or Ana we found them to be incredibly approachable and friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I could run out of superlatives to describe this villa, 5 star, exceptional and well worth a visit. Thanks You!

Semana fantástica

Fabulous villa

Lovely villa with all you need to self cater. A car is a must but it’s only a short drive to the supermarkets and to the port and beach. You can take a free road train from the complex to Granadella beach. Lovely pebble beach, but take beach shoes with you! The villa has a lovely big pool and great outdoor areas. Not only are there air cons in all bedrooms but also overhead fans! There was plenty of room for our party of 5 adults. We would recommend this villa.

Fantastic villa

Seven of us stayed here for a week at the start of August this year and we had a really fantastic time. The villa was spotless and had everything we needed from kitchen appliances and equipment, BBQ equipment and towels/linens. It lived up to the pictures! The layout of the place and clusters of seating areas throughout the villa make it very relaxing and easy to spread out so you are never on top of each other. The pool is absolutely fantastic, lovely temperature and very clean, with a friendly pool cleaner coming twice during our stay. Location is good, in a pretty upmarket residential area (La Guardia), and very quiet for the most part. A car is a must if you want to get out and about, but it's an easy drive from Alicante airport. It's easy to find too. There are a couple of good supermarkets nearby - Saladar is brilliant, super helpful staff and a huge range of stuff for its size! Consum near town is a much bigger standard supermarket (Sains/Waitrose type stuff). The villa is a 10 min drive (max) to the Arenal and 15 to the port in Javea (both have a huge choice of restaurants and beaches if you fancy a dip). The port is good too if you fancy a mooch around some shops that aren't the seaside tat found in the Arenal shops. Parking is free everywhere, which is great. There are other more secluded, rugged and beautiful coves and beaches to discover in the area, Grenadalla being one. Between July and Sept you can get a free little road train (or the overspill minibus if the train is too full) from the car park in La Guardia down to Grenadella. It's hourly and runs 11am-6pm and is a must as cars aren't allowed down there during those times. It's a fun way to get there and the crystal clear water is worth it! Unlike Arenal it's a pebble beach and only has a couple of little bars/cafes, which is lovely. We took a kayaking excursion from there, organised through Siesta Advisor in Javea, which took us around the coast and into some amazing caves. If you have kids, Aqualandia waterpark, an hour away in Benidorm, is worth a visit although quite expensive! Our kids (and big kids) really enjoyed it! The villa owners, Ana and Diana, are very friendly and relaxed. If you have any issues or need anything, one of them will get back to you pretty quickly. All in all a fantastic stay!

Fantastic villa in perfect location

We had a lovely holiday at Casa Serena. The villa was perfect for us, two families with three young children. It is a good villa for children being all on one level and a fully enclosed safe garden space. The villa was modern and felt very homely and had everything we needed. All the rooms have a high spec and the bathrooms and kitchen are very clean and modern. We felt the villa was in a great location, close to supermarkets and a short drive to beach/ restaurants. We also enjoyed a short walk to the nearby pizzeria which was very good. We would highly recommend booking Casa Serena! Thank you Diane and Anna!

Fantastic family holiday home

Both a Diane & Anas were great. Excellent communication and lovely to deal with. Enjoyed a great family holiday at this fantastic home which has been maintained to a high standard. Five adults and a lively 2 year old. This home has everything you need to enjoy a family holiday. Four good sized bedrooms with two shower rooms. The pool is just great, a good size and everyone loved it particularly little one. Comfortable good quality outdoor furniture and a smashing charcoal bbq. Recently refitted quality kitchen. Well worth a visit, we are looking to return.

Great place for a holiday

We spent a week at Serena House, 4 adults and 4 children. It's a great villa, quite new and stylish, and had everything that could needed for such a stay. Both the house and the outside (pool and barbecue) were just what we expected from the pictures. Owners fully available, any issues were immediately addressed and some minor objects that were broken by us not even considered by Diane. We booked some hours of cleaning during the week that were satisfactory. The villa is located in a quiet residential estate, you need car for everything but it takes no more than 10 minutes to go to the Javea center and beach (Arenal) and no more than 5 minutes from closest supermarkets or Cap de la Nao (great views). Quite close as well from Cala Granadella, a small rock beach that was recommended by Diane and is totally worth paying a visit. Great stay, I would totally recommend it.

Fabulous, well appointed villa

The villa was everything we hoped it would be and more. The pictures are a good representation but it is even nicer in reality. The owner clearly takes pride in the property. The pool area, naya and outside space are particularly good. The pool is a great size, and the wrap around naya has space for outdoor dining, plus a further space looking on to the pool with comfortable sofas. Inside, the villa is equally impressive. The bedrooms are large and all have good wardrobe space. The beds are comfortable and each room is nicely decorated with co-ordinating furnishings and cushions etc. The two bathrooms (one of which is en-suite to the master bedroom) are newly refurbished and are excellent - they both have large walk in showers and have a hotel feel to them. All bedrooms are fitted with good quality fans, and the two double bedrooms also have air conditioning units. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for preparing your own meals, and there is a utility area with large fridge freezer and washing machine. It was very hot and humid during our stay, and the lack of air conditioning in the kitchen did make it very uncomfortable, however the owner advised that the kitchen is due to be refurbished later this year, which will rectify this for future. The location of the villa is in a large urbanisation so a car is a must. There are a few restaurants in the urbanisation within walking distance - we visited the Italian (5 mins walk) a couple of times and whilst the menu is a little limited, it was very friendly and the food and service was excellent. the local area of Javea is easily accessed by car - the main beach is approx 10 mins away and the port area/old town approx 15 mins. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Serena and wouldn't hesitate in recommending.

Spacious, beautiful, modern and perfect

This villa is one of the very best I've stayed in, it's presented beautifully and located within easy access to shops, beach but private enough to feel you have escaped from the world. It was perfect for our family of 8 , we all were delighted by the pool , BBQ area and generally the spacious feel to the villa, the air con in the bedrooms were a life saver at night, fab bathrooms with enough space to not be on top of each other, the kids loved the Tv/lounge area too when the pool exhausted them, we shall return but stay for so much longer. I didn't really want to write a great review as more people will book it but Diane the owner made sure we could want for nothing as was so helpful, booking again already for next year, barbs and the family xxx

Stunning luxury villa!

We have just returned from our stay at Casa Serena and did not want to leave! We are already looking at dates for next year! The villa was stunning - the perfect layout for our family to relax with a lovely open-planned lounge, dining room & well-stocked reading room. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with plenty of wardrobe space in each and the main bathroom and en-suite are very modern with walk-in showers and a 'hotel-like' feel to them. The outside area is so pretty, with well-maintained gardens, shrubs and palm trees. When not enjoying the pool, which was perfect and in the sun all day (!) there is an L-shaped Naya with a sofa area to relax in and also another outside dining area if you don't want to eat indoors. There are plenty of sunbeds, parasols and yet another dining table with a parasol near to the pool area. The outside furniture is all very tasteful, rattan furniture. Overall the villa was well-equipped and clean and there was nothing lacking for us. The owner was extremely friendly and shared her knowledge of the local area with us. The area is quiet and private and the villa is not overlooked. In walking distance there is a nice pizza restaurant, which sometimes has live music. Casa de la Pizza. We know Javea well and this villa was the ideal location for us to be able to visit the beach, port and all of our favourite places. A new one on our list now is La Bachhus, steak restaurant, which was recommended to us by Diane the owner - we visited twice during our 2 week stay and look forward to going again next year!

Impressive Casa Paulinas

We had a wonderful holiday at this beautiful villa. The villa has stylish and good quality furnishings, great pool and lounging areas with sun loungers, comfortable seating and outdoor as well as indoor dining. Location is very good with shopping, beach resort and restaurants within easy reach. We did encounter and reported a couple of minor problems which did not detract from our overall experience. We would recommend Casa Paulinas.

We had a great week in Javea using Casa Serena as the perfect hub. Immaculately clean and up to date, the owners clearly take a pride in their villa. Days started with lazy breakfast on the covered patio (adjacent to the well kept and varied garden) then into shorts for a trip into the historical centre of Javea or a short trip to Arenal Beach for coffee and cake or other local delights (food in every eatery we went to was superb). We also loved the surrounding mountains. The villa, situated in a beautiful residential area, offers plenty of space to find your own piece of solitude and, we thought, was nicer in the flesh than in the pictures!! Would highly recommend Casa Serena and we will be returning.

Superb villa, facilities, locale and region

We enjoyed a wonderful week's holiday at this attractive villa located in a quiet residential area of Javea. We found it to be extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable, tastefully furnished and decorated, and well equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The gardens are private and secure, perfect if you have children, and we loved the outside eating area and BBQ, and of course, the pool! It is a great size whether you want to swim lengths or just have fun. The villa is within easy walking distance of local amenities, including shops, bars, restaurants and tennis courts. The Javea region is very picturesque and, again, offers something for everyone, be it walks along the promenade, great nightlife or enjoying the spectacular views from the Miradors. Thank you for making our holiday so special. We will definitely be returning to Casa Serena again.

We purchased our new home in 2008 having spent many months looking for the right area after falling in love with Javea. The villa is all on one level making it ideal for small children and anyone with mobility problems. It is south facing and tastefully decorated throughout and we hope all the improvements made will ensure you feel at home during your stay at Casa Serena.
The Costa Nova area where our villa is situated is very secluded, private and peaceful but has plenty to offer nearby during the day or night if you want to go out. The villa is close to Granadella beach and just a short 10 minute drive to the main beach front with bars, restaurants and shops.
Javea is a great family area and you are made to feel welcome wherever you go.

We know that from renting villas ourselves over the years, sometimes little things during your stay can go wrong like the washing machine or the hot water not working. However you do not need to worry as we have nominated a private agent in Javea who will be able to assist you should there be a problem, and they will correct any issue you may find during your stay.
