Stono River House, Relax and Enjoy

This 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home is located on the intra-coastal waterway, in a quiet gated community, 20 minutes from Historic downtown Charleston. This house, surrounded by live oaks, offers a relaxing Southern atmosphere. The wrap-around porch offers a variety of natural views. This 3 story home has elevator access to each floor. The top floor has 3 bedrooms with queen beds and an open bonus room with a double bed. The main floor boasts a large family room, a kitchen, and a dining room overlooking the Stono river. Just off the family room is the master suite with a king bed and a private bath with an antique claw foot tub and separate walk in shower. There is also a double bed located off the kitchen with a connecting half bath. This river home sleeps 10 to 12 people comfortably and is ideal for connecting with nature and relaxing. There is an elevator for luggage and ease of getting into the house. However the contractor chose to make the interior doors too small for wheelchairs.

Host was super helpful. This house is wonderful! It is stocked with everything you will need. We loved the outdoor area and the dock. My son-in-law used the crab traps one evening. We caught several! The whole family was comfortable. The elevator was helpful with groceries and luggage. I highly recommend this property.

Charleston Family Vacation

Wonderful time with our whole family. House was beautiful and had everything we needed for a perfect week. Front porch was so relaxing in the morning and watching the deer frolic in the front yard was fabulous.

Excellent, accommodation great, fishing was slow for the first couple of days, finally at the end started catching fish, a lot of sting rays, one shark, one big trout, overall everything was great, the elevator was a plus.

The house was perfect for a large group. Plenty of room to stretch out. Everything we needed was there. Beautiful location. Loved sitting on the dock on the river watching the wildlife and taking in the sun. Family enjoyed sitting on the porch day and night just enjoying the scenery and listening to the sounds. Loved how the neighbors were a distance so we definitely had our own space. I think I could go on and on. It was the perfect place for our family get-together. Thank you so much

Beach getaway

We had a great time at this property. It was so nice and quiet, we even saw dolphins down in the river of the dock at high tide. It was nice and close to Charleston and the surronding beaches.

The house was beautiful and big enough for a big family. I would definitely recommend. The elevator was wonderful for moving luggage to all the floors. We hadd a blast playing ping pong and playing cards.
