Amazing family holiday at Marina’s villa

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Marina’s villa. It is finished to a very high standard, is well equipped and is extremely spacious with extensive grounds. Marina gave us plenty of helpful tips and advice on the surrounding area before our holiday. The boat trip she recommended around the caves was spectacular. On arrival we were met by Mark, the property manager. He showed us around the villa and was always contactable if we needed any assistance or advice. The villa is in a great location and only a short drive to so many lovely beaches and towns. Marina’s villa was ideal for our family and we spent many happy afternoons in the pool. Thank you Marina and Mark for a wonderful stay.

excellent location, very quiet, beautiful garden, well equipped house

We spent 6 weeks in this beautiful house and garden. The house is well located: very quite (no disturbing noises of traffic or neighbours), close to the ocean, the supermarkets, restaurants and a perfect starting point to explore east and west Algarve and Alentejo. The kitchen is well equipped, very good beds, large TV, excellent internet and large terrace. Large swimming pool (which we didn't use in February).The only disadvantage of the house for a stay in the winterperiod is the poor heating of kitchen and living room which was not sufficient. Bedrooms have however 2-direction airco. The communication with owner and agency was rapid and efficient.

Het grootste probleem was het weer. De omstandigheden waren zo slecht dat de villa niet meer waterdicht was en kortsluiting ontstond door lekkend water in lampen. Ook de plafonds en muren bladderden af. Vochtigheidspercentage liep op tot gemiddeld 90%. De villa was onder normale omstandigheden uitstekend geweest. Er viel zoveel regen en het stormde bijna elke dag, zodat bijna alle woningen in Portugal grote problemen hadden. Gelukkig was er een technische man (Brett), die ons geweldig terzijde heeft gestaan. Ook de huisbaas (Rachel) was geweldig. Door deze omstandigheden konden wij nauwelijks het huis uit en hebben niets van de omgeving kunnen zien. Gedurende ons hele verblijf van 35 dagen waren de omstandigheden zo slecht!

This was the best vacation ever!

My family stayed at Marina's villa and we had a blast! Armacao de Pera is a charming small town in Algarve and the villa is in a private location just 5 minutes away from the beach. From booking to check in Marina was extremely responsive and helpful. The whole process was smooth. She even took the time to make activity and restaurant suggestions for us based on what we were looking for. The villa itself was great. It's large, offers a lot of privacy, clean, and we especially made good use of the pool. The property is exactly as described both in pictures and in writing. We absolutely enjoyed our time there!

Above expectations

Our family with 6 and 8 years old had seven wonderful days at Casa Paula. Very private, great views, nice spacious house and the property was simply perfect for us. Having our own swimming pool and a place to bbq made our stay very relaxed. We liked the location of the house, but a car is a must if you intend to explore the area, and you do want to do that. Beautiful miles long beach, fisherman boats, caves, we took a boat along the shore and the views were spectacular. Lots of cute little towns around. We can absolutely recommend Casa Paula to other families or couples. We hope to be back next year!

Amazing stay in the Algarve!

We really enjoyed our stay here in June. The villa is beautiful! Loved grilling and hanging out by the pool. It was amazing at night - you could see all the stars! We were walking distance from the beach, some cute shops and delicious restaurants and could easily drive to Old Town Albufeira or Lagos. Will definitely be staying here whenever we visit the Algarve! Thank you Marina!

Paradise in Portugal!

We had an absolutely amazing week at this Villa. The property manager was wonderful and easy to communicate with. He met us and led us to the house. He answered all our questions and made sure we knew how to use everything in the house (TV, wireless internet, etc). There were four of us at the house but we would have had room for more quite comfortably. The house is extremely spacious and well laid out. The back yard has a stunning view and includes a large private pool and a great outdoor kitchen area. We really enjoyed cooking and eating outside. I would have to recommend having a car while you are staying as it is a quick drive into town and the beach. The town is wonderful and we felt very safe walking around at all hours. There are fantastic restaurants and shops and everyone is very accommodating and friendly. The beaches were clean and water beautiful. I really recommend finding a small fishing boat tour guide to explore the sea caves in the area.

We are a couple who likes to travel and explore. We fell in love with this piece of paradise in Algarve and bought it in 2003. The kids were still little back then and we much enjoyed coming here for family vacations, which were always full of fun and freshest seafood you can imagine. Now we still come stay at the villa a couple times a year and we rent it out the rest of time.
We find plenty of things to do here, just to name a few: best golf courses, tennis nearby, great spa, fantastic dining for any budget or if you want to dine at home there is a fully equipped kitchen at the villa and BBQ area located under separate roof by the pool and the most magnificent beach which was included by Travel Channel network in top 10 of the world! We also have free Wi-Fi and a cable TV. There is a mature garden with fruit trees which you are welcome to pick when in season. We have apricot, almond, pomegranate, fig trees, prickly pear, guava, black pepper, olives, carob and more. We hope you come, discover Algarve for yourself and have a pleasant stay at our villa!
